At 11:17 AM EDT on September 1, 2024, Uranus turns Retrograde
For two days previous and today, Sunday (9/1/2024), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Sun joining with Jupiter and Neptune (1*). The strongest vibrational energy today is focused on making connections into the community that really speaks to them, that is really meaningful to them. They desire to be involved with the people in the community especially connecting with those that are especially inspiring to them. There is also an emphasis here on making changes in community so that it works more effectively. This is about finding a community that would reflect the big dreams and sense of wonder you have. The challenge is to work on finding a community you can relate to and helping it do a better job of supporting the people in the community. (For VA Students: 9, 18, 27)
For three days now the essential principle to guide expression of this vibrational energy is to stay attuned to the universal principle that is seeking to be expressed in the thing or process that you are focused on and use that universal principle to make your concern work better. In this process it is important to both work on a deep level and to look into the far distance and see how your dreams may be reflected there.

The Two Planet Diary

At 7:57 PM the Pluto moves back into Capricorn for a while and you may find yourself obsessed with being less emotional and more objective than at other times. If you realize that this is the point in Pluto’s cycle when objective evaluation occurs, then you can use this time to review your recent experiences and see what you have learned and what you need to work on.
Sep 1 – Sep 4 (exact Sep 3) Mars in Gemini is acting and agitating (square) with Neptune in Pisces. This energy begins to influence us around 11 AM on Sept. 1 and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 12:10 AM on Sept. 3 then decreasing fading out around 2 PM on Sept. 4. This vibrational energy pattern is about taking new and different actions in order to more effectively achieve your dreams.
Jul 28 – Sep 4 (closest Aug 16), Neptune in Aries is sharing freely (sextile) with Pluto in Aquarius. This planetary interaction begins at around 3 AM on Jul 28. It does not get exact but the closest position is on August 16. This vibe is then decreasing fading out around 11 AM on Sept 4. This vibrational energy pattern brings a surge of focus on your dreams and your passionate need to pursue your dreams
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 12:10 AM, peaking at 2:10 AM, the Moon in Leo is sharing freely (sextile) with Jupiter in Gemini. This 4 hr period brings a sense of emotional expansion and optimism and a desire to reach out and interact with others socially.
Starting at 6:36 AM, peaking at 8:36 AM, the Moon in Leo is joining with Mercury in Leo. The emotions and moods and mental patterns are working together. This is a time when you are very effective in doing projects.
Starting at 4:21 PM, peaking at 6:21 PM, the Moon in Leo is acting and agitating (square) with Uranus in Taurus. In this 4 hr period your emotions could be scattered all over the place with you feeling one thing one moment and another the next moment and you have the energy and desire to act on each of these things as it spontaneously surfaces. It is good to have a little bit of you watching this process and every once in a while saying, “I better wait on that one.”
Starting at 6:25 PM, peaking at 8:25 PM, the Moon in Leo is sharing freely (sextile) with Mars in Gemini. In this 4 hr period you want to express your emotions in an active harmonious way sharing with others. This is a great time for group activities or meetings or for social sharing or for team sports.
At 11:48 PM the Moon enters Virgo and is there for 2 ½ days bringing the sense of an elusive perfection that you would like to express here on earth. This can result in a desire to fix things that are not working the way they “should”.

On August 26, the Third Quarter Moon occurred with the Moon in Gemini and the Sun in Virgo. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on September 2, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern involves first connecting into what you have learned in your depths about life and the meaning of life and bringing that awareness out to interact with what is happening in the world around you and taking action to make changes based on this understanding. There is an emphasis on working to improve and more effectively represent the community and guide its organic expansion. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A black child playing with white children” which focuses on us accepting all aspects of ourselves clearing out distortions that have come from us not accepting all of what we are. The Symbol for the Moon is “Holly and Mistletoe”. This brings a sense of a light connection to spirit for just a moment which helps you to recognize that there are deeper levels than what you are aware of and that all that is happening may not be obvious.
On August 19, the Full Moon occurred with the Moon in Aquarius and the Sun in Leo. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on September 2, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern brings the potential for creative exploration that can discover new ideas and new ways of operating that can bring changes in our lives and the lives of those around us. This is combined with a focus on internal development and on being with others who are also seeking to develop themselves. There is the potential here for sudden, unexpected, conceptual insights that can shift our understanding of ourselves and the world. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “Many Little Birds on the Limb of a Large Tree” which will help us form relationships that recognize the worth of each person as we share in exchanges of love and affirmation. Interacting superficially seeking to gain prominence, power and prestige is not likely to work well at this time. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Tree felled and sawed”, This opens the door to releasing of old ego patterns and the moving from personal needs to a focus on service to others. If you hold onto a pattern focused on personal gain you will likely find yourself pulled in many different directions with resentful feelings that keep you from participating in an integrated wholeness.
On August 4, the New Moon occurred with the Sun and Moon in Leo. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on September 2, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern is about tangible achievements brought about by expanding your social connections. The most effective action is likely to be done by joining with others into an open creative community expressing independent thinking based on seeing the big picture. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “An Old Sea Captain Rocking” which is about contemplating all that you have been experiencing and getting it in perspective. This increases your understanding and brings guidance for future action. It is important that you stay focused in the present rather than getting caught up in memory and disconnected from the current reality.
On June 20, the Summer Solstice occurred as the Sun enters Cancer. This pattern will be influencing us until the Fall Equinox on September 22, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern brings a potential for rebirth of the experience of beauty in our everyday life. There is a challenge to adjust and rebirth our dreams and visions. There is a strong sense of smooth flowing development and refinement of the inner self. This is a time to interact and explore on a deep inner level. This gives the potential for new patterns to form organically within you. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun Moon distance is “An Orangutan” which points to each of us sensing powerful primitive distortions deep within us. We are recognizing the need to refine and guide these forces into more mature expression. There is the possibility of distortion if you take for granted your right to do whatever you feel like in life without considering its effect on other people.
On April 8, the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Sun and Moon in Aries. This will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse on October 2, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern brings us into connection with each other. We understand more and more how the life experiences of others impact our own life experiences. There is a call to support others where they need support as we also respect the importance of each person fashioning their own life pattern. There is a challenge here to learn to work together harmoniously while still respecting each person’s individual experiences and understandings. The Sabian Symbol for the Solar Eclipse is “A Young Girl feeding Birds in Winter”. Here we are making a tentative connection into and expressing the nurturing love that is the core of this realm of manifestation. This love is always there in the depths, if we will allow ourselves to connect into it, no matter what our situation. There is a warning here about trying to manipulate others by controlling what they need that they do not have access to on their own.
On March 25, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Libra and the Sun in Aries. This pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse on September 17, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern is especially focused on taking actions in ways that are compatible with the other people involved in and impacted by the actions. There is the potential here for sudden unexpected events to occur and for the results of one’s actions to have unexpected consequences. There is also an emphasis here of being able to get down to the true core patterns involved and to be able to see the real motives behind people’s actions. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Square brightly lighted on one side”. This symbol is about identifying your destination point and sensing the path you need to take to reach it. The Symbol for the Moon is “The Ideals of a man abundantly crystallized”. This encourages you to work internally to solidify your ideals, forming a solid foundation from which you can relate to others effectively.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Pluto, Uranus turning Retrograde at 11:17 AM. EDT Sept. 1 >> Introductory Period for Jupiter: Turning Back of Uranus, Neptune: Reworking of Saturn: Turning Forward of Pluto: Resolution of Mercury {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area.
