Today, Saturday (5/16/2026), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Sun and Mars joining with Jupiter (2*). This Vibrational Energy Pattern is internally directed. This energy support you working within yourself and being able to penetrate some of the internal blockage that keeps you from connecting to your true essence and essential self. You may also find that this is a time when you have the opportunity to help some others do the same. There is a strong energy here for acting in expansive ways and even taking big actions. The Two Planet Diary

May 16 – May 21 (exact May 19) Venus in Cancer is sharing freely (sextile) with Mars in Taurus. This energy begins to influence us around 8 PM on May 16 and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 1:37 AM on May 19 then it is decreasing fading out around 8 AM on May 21. This vibrational energy pattern brings a time to actively interact with those with whom you have a lot in common. This would include friends and companions with whom you share a significant common interest.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 6:39 AM, peaking at 8:39 AM, the Moon in Taurus is sharing freely (sextile) with Jupiter in Cancer. This 4 hr period brings a sense of emotional expansion and optimism and a desire to reach out and interact with others socially.

Starting at 7:02 PM, peaking at 9:02 PM, the Moon in Taurus is joining with Mercury in Taurus. The emotions and moods and mental patterns are working together. This is a time when you are very effective in doing projects.
At 10:23 PM the Moon enters Gemini bringing 2 ½ days where your mood may be light hearted and you may just feel like exploring your world especially in combination with spending time with friends. This is a wonderful time to stop and smell the roses or walk down the main drag in your town and go into some of the shops you have never been in to just learn what they are about. You may discover something really exciting.
Starting at 10:16 PM, peaking at 12:16 AM early May 17, the Moon in Gemini is joining with Uranus in Gemini. In this 4 hr period your emotions may be scattered and moving quickly from one thing to another. There is the possibility of sudden insights but be sure you have something to write them down on as they will be hard to remember later.

There is an opportunity here to shift our personal awareness into to new frame of reference that previously felt foreign to us. On March 20, the Spring/Fall Equinox occurred as the Sun entered Aries. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us at least until the Summer/Winter Solstice on June 21, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern is especially focused on finding ways to share your sense of life with other people. There is a strong desire to support good positive connections to society and to seek to communicate your sense of how to live in society in a way that works for everyone. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun Moon relationship at the Spring Equinox is “A Pugilist entering the Ring” which is about having a strong sense of yourself as a person who is willing to stand up for yourself and fight for what you know and believe in no matter what the opposition. If you fail to effectively defend your point of view you will have to deal with the consequences.
On March 3, the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Virgo and the Sun in Pisces. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse, on August 28, 2026. There may be a lot of emotional activity connected with this eclipse. There is also the potential for exceptional communication that can be very effective. This pattern shows that there is a potential to act out of your personal concepts without taking other people into account. There are hidden things going on that have the potential to be revealed and cause a big shift in understanding. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Sword in a Museum”. This presents a choice. You can lay aside the use of force to gain your ends and embrace love and peace, both within yourself and in your interactions with others. Or you can hold grudges and be ready to fight others at any sign of opposition. Or you can give up in defeat and feel worthless and useless. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Strong Hand supplanting Political Hysteria”. Here the power of your personality and your spiritual awareness is acting to calm the situation down. Alternatively, you are being too timid and afraid to take action, losing the opportunity to gain control; or using your power and energy to manipulate the reactions of others for your personal gain.
On February 17, the Solar Eclipse (a New Moon) occurred with the Moon and Sun in Aquarius. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse, on August 12, 2026.This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings a sudden unexpected change that surprises everyone. The energy is focused on internal evaluation of the patterns that you are seeing around you with you seeing what changes are needed to reestablish a flow within the social structure. There is the capacity here to take the actions that will bring about that change. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “Butterfly emerging from Chrysalis”. This speaks of emerging from a long period of suspended confinement within a transformative cocoon. You are discovering that you have experienced a complete metamorphosis of your personal self in this time period. The key is to open up to new and different experiences and not hold onto the old limited form.
