Astro Vibrational Tapestry Report
by Linda Berry and Starlene Breiter

The Strongest Vibration impacting us today is the Sun joining with Uranus and Pluto (4*).  This pattern will be dominant both today and tomorrow.  We are feeling a need to withdraw into ourselves and get more in touch with our internal sense of who and what we are and how we want to operate in life.  There is a desire to drop old expectations and to free ourselves to truly express who we are right now in this moment.  Actually there is more than a desire, there is a deep demanding need to truly express who we feel we are in this moment in time.  There is an impulsiveness to this that needs to be guided into positive expression as the impatience right now could possibly result in expressions that could bring results that we do not want.  The trick is to balance the needs of the moment with an overview that will bring what we really desire from our actions.  What is called for is disciplined or directed or structured impulsiveness.

The AstroFrequency(s) for the day (in order of strength)

The Mood of the Day
Venus in Libra starts to form a trine with Mars in Aquarius at 8:33 PM today. This aspect starts to build from about 1 AM today and lasts until tomorrow afternoon. There is a sweet connection to things we are attracted to today. It feels nice, the things we love and our energy is in sync. Do something energetically beautiful with yourself during this time. Things that come to mind are dance, or tai chi, or singing.

The Leo Sun formed its exact square with Jupiter in Scorpio yesterday evening. This aspect lasts through almost all of today. This can create some tension in our own personal philosophy. You might question yourself, are you truly really living the live you want to live? This is a good energy in that it can help shed some light onto the things that you really do want in your life, and you are then presented the opportunity to make changes if you do desire. Things to think about are: What is my personal philosophy? Am I truly living it? Can I make some changes for the better? Think outside the box on this one and you might find yourself pleasantly surprised in what comes to your mind.

Saturn in Capricorn started to form a trine with Uranus in Taurus on Wednesday, August 1st. This aspect never actually comes to a peak because Saturn is retrograde right now, then Uranus goes retrograde August 7th, but this aspect is intense all the way through! It slowly loses some strength until the second week in August. Then it starts to pick up again, until about September 5, when it finally starts to lose strength again. This aspect lasts until the third week in September before finally leaving us. This is a positive aspect that can help you to achieve the results that you want to achieve, when other times you may have wanted to achieve something and have not made it. You are asked to focus yourself on being in the present moment and to let go of anything that is not necessarily long lasting to you too.

Uranus comes to station retrograde at 12:49 PM. Uranus is in this phase until January 2019. So this is a long phase and the most important dates to think about are the “station” dates. Those dates are the days when Uranus appears to be standing still in the sky. It is not, of course, but the power of Uranus is very powerful during a station time. So today and when Uranus moves back into the station direct stage in January, pay attention to these dates. Uranus comes along and stirs the cosmic pot, changing things. That change is not always easy and we rebell against it, but that is what Uranus is all about – rebelling. But not rebelling to do something that is out of the norm, rebelling for the desire to actually live on one’s own terms. So on a personal level, ask yourself during this time. Are you living on your own terms or do you need to change that? This phase of Uranus may help inspire you to live in the present moment and find the beat to your own drum.

{The remaining aspects to mention today are aspects to the Moon. Moon aspects are more like moods, than life-changing alterations/situations. Since they are two planet Moon patterns they only last a couple of hours on each side of their peak times.}

The Moon in Gemini makes a square with Neptune in Pisces at 12:37 AM. You may have poor judgment during this time. There could be a feeling of disillusionment also. If you are asleep, and dream, write down your dreams when you awaken. Following the Gemini Moon comes to a sextile with Mercury in Leo at 3:54 AM. This is a time when our minds are active. We may be thinking about the little things that occupy our minds, and this can come out in a dream state. Therefore, if you do dream, it could be helpful for you to think about how it relates to your everyday life. The Moon then goes into a void-of-course phase after this aspect peaks until tomorrow at 12:01 AM. That means this void-of-course phase is a long one, It lasts about 20 hours! It also is on the heels of the Uranus station retrograde which makes this feel pretty turbulent.

Longer Term Vibrations that need to be considered. These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.} Cyclic Patterns we are experiencing at this time

Cyclic Patterns we are experiencing at this time
{Longer Term Vibrations also need to be considered.  These patterns continue over several days and you may want to reread this periodically to help you more effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}

The Third Quarter Moon was on August 4 and this pattern will be influencing us until August 11 when the next Solar Eclipse and New Moon occurs.  This brings a sense of awareness of our dreams and visions and feelings of restlessness and dissatisfaction that drive an intense need to actively change whatever is necessary to bring about the realization of those dreams.  The Sun’s Sabian Symbol is “An old sea captain rocking” and the Moon’s is “A man handling baggage”.  The challenge this week is to step back and get an overview, get a sense of perspective, see what within you is interfering with your manifesting your dreams.  Do you think you don’t deserve them?  Do you think you are not able to be successful?  What are the risks you would have to take to make your dreams come true?  See if you can see where your attitudes and negative beliefs about yourself and negative self-talk are undercutting your ability to manifest your dreams.  Then change those negatives by changing your self-talk.  Whatever you think that is negative, see if you can figure out the positive you are denying and tell yourself that instead, any time you sense the negative rising up within you, reverse it and give yourself a positive message instead.

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse was on July 27 and it will be influencing us until the next New Moon on August 11 which is a Solar Eclipse.  This is a very active pattern that is about reevaluating how you act on your feelings every day.  Are you aware and recognizing that feelings may be about the past rather than the present and you do not need to express every feeling you have?  All feeling do not require action.  For example, if you are angry with someone and “wish they were dead”, you do not go out and make that happen.  Our feelings come from our history and our reaction to an event may be a whole lot more about a problem in our past rather than about the current situation which just happens to remind you in some way of that past issue.  The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “Rock formations at the edge of a precipice” and it is about recognizing emotional patterns in you especially related to frustration and anger that are creating problems for you and that could cause you to fall over the edge.  The Moon Symbol is “A council of ancestors” and this lets you know that if you will listen and be open to it, you can receive guidance, knowledge and wisdom from the spirit world and from your ancestors helping you tune into ancient wisdom and understand how it can be effective in addressing the problems of today.

Mercury went retrograde on July 26 and will turn direct on August 19.  The post-retrograde period will be from August 19 to September 2.  This Mercury retrograde is focused on whether you get caught up in the superficiality of appearances or you can learnt to expand your awareness of yourself and others to a point where you recognize your innate self-worth and the worth of other people and recognize that who a person is, is a lot more important than what they appear to be.  Appearances can be deceiving and you are challenged to look at the deeper truths of each person you interact with.

We are in a new eclipse cycle starting with the Solar Eclipse on July 12.  This will be followed by a Lunar Eclipse on July 27 and a second Solar Eclipse on August 11.  Thus we are entering a full month of change.  Be prepared to go through a series of changes involving new realizations about yourself and the world around you.  This eclipse brings with it a feeling of focus and discipline touched with a certain obsessive compulsive feeling about getting done what you need to get done.  The Sabian Symbol for this eclipse is “A prima donna singing” which encourages us to naturally express our gifts as they come up within us without the expectation of special privileges being given to us as some kind of right based on how special we are.  If we demand special treatment it will distort our gifts as they are used to feed the ego, rather than being expressed as a natural part of us.

The Summer Solstice was on June 21 and this energy pattern will be influencing us until September 22 when the Fall Equinox occurs.  The Summer Solstice is when the Sun enters Cancer and the Summer officially begins.  With the temperatures we have been seeing a lot of places, it looks like the Summer has gotten off to a running start.  This summer there is a strong emphasis on taking action that will benefit the community and bring peace and healing.  People will not be willing to sacrifice their sense of what is right and ultimately meaningful but they will value operating in peaceful cooperative ways to achieve their goals.  In the midst of all this it is important for each of us to take some time out to just be in the moment and relax and play in a creative way.

Mars went retrograde on June 27(9aq13) and will turn direct in on August 27(28cp37).  When Mars appears to go retrograde due to our position here on the Earth, the Mars energies are likely to go out of control if they are disturbed.  In other words, anyone who hasn’t worked through their issues with anger and frustration may explode during Mars retrograde.  There is also a shadow around the retrograde both before and after the retrograde period when the Mars energy may not work the way you expect it to work.  The pre-retrograde shadow was from May 13th to June 27th.  The post-retrograde shadow will be from August 27th to October 8th.  In the post-retrograde shadow you will have an opportunity to rework your issues with anger and frustration and perhaps learn a better way of dealing with times when your actions get blocked by something or someone around you.    The challenge of this Mars retrograde period is to see where you need to take responsibility for your life and your decisions rather than blaming others, to see what biases and illusions you carry within you that are distorting your reactions and to revise your understanding to see the deeper truths of each person as a unique soul and spirit of value.
