At 10:34 PM EDT on September 17, 2024, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurs with the Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo.
Today, Tuesday (9/17/2024), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Moon and Mercury joining with Saturn (1*). This vibrational energy pattern is brings focus on the world around us and the need to change the way things are structured and to insert new concepts into the mix as we work out how to be more effective in our process of taking action. This is combined with a sense of the importance of supporting our community in a creative way. The emphasis here is on analysis of the emotional patterns of the people around us seeking to get a more in depth understanding of the emotional patterns that are in play and where they are coming from. The essential principle to guide expression of this vibrational energy is to begin a new project or pattern that joins together different elements and people that seem to not be connected. This is accomplished by using the universal patterns as the template and modeling patterns and structures here on earth on those universal patterns.

The Two Planet Diary

Sep 17 – Sep 18 (exact Sep 18) Mercury in Virgo is opposing Saturn in Pisces. This energy begins to influence us around 5 PM on Sept. 17 and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 4:50 AM on Sept. 18 then decreasing fading out around 5:30 PM on Sept. 18. This vibrational energy pattern involves analysis of the patterns around you to focus on what is the most fundamental and discard all the rest of the trivia.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 12:55 AM, peaking at 2:55 AM, the Moon in Pisces is opposing Mercury in Virgo. In this 4 hr period the emotions and moods will tend to influence the mind during this time, as well as the mind having an influence on the mood and emotions. They will tend to take turns being dominant.
Starting at 4:10 AM, peaking at 6:10 AM, the Moon in Pisces is joining with Saturn in Pisces. This 4 hr period calls for an evaluation of your emotional patterns to see whether you are reacting emotionally to things that do not really matter where you will not remember what upset you in an hour or a day. It is about learning to let go of emotional feelings that are not about significant long-term issues.
Starting at 12:30 PM, peaking at 2:30 PM, the Moon in Pisces is acting and agitating (square) with Jupiter in Gemini. In this 4 hr period your emotions will tend to expand. If you are feeling good, this can be great. If you are not feeling good, then this can be difficult. See if you can direct your feelings and thoughts to things that are pleasant and positive and you will be rewarded with some really good feelings.

At 10:34 PM EDT on September 17, 2024, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurs with the Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo. This vibrational energy pattern brings a focus on dreams and ideals that last past death. This is about tuning into the long term patterns of unfolding evolving awareness that transcend the resistance of the moment. There is a major focus in this eclipse on evaluation of your motives and drives to be sure you are getting the result you want. There is also a balancing of your individual view of life against what works for everyone else. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Boy with a Censer” which involves learning how to expand your awareness and accept responsibility for both yourself and your interactions with others by modeling yourself after those who are more spiritually experienced and developed. The Moon Symbol is “A New Moon that divides its Influences” which involves learning how to operate effectively in both the spiritual and the earthly realms based on a new vision and finding your unique way to respond to that vision. If you do not realize that everyone is connected you may start feeling alone and isolated.
On September 2, the New Moon occurred with the Moon and Sun in Virgo. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon Solar Eclipse on October 2, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern is permeated with a shared sense of restlessness and dissatisfaction. We are all reaching out seeking beautiful connections to others and more civility in our interactions. There is a sense of a soulful beauty that we could find a way to share together. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Bride with her Veil snatched away” which is about our concealment being ripped away and us each being forced to reveal ourselves and become vulnerable to transformative change. This is about us each making a commitment to open up and relate to those that are around us in a deeper, more meaningful way.
On June 20, the Summer Solstice occurred as the Sun enters Cancer. This pattern will be influencing us until the Fall Equinox on September 22, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern brings a potential for rebirth of the experience of beauty in our everyday life. There is a challenge to adjust and rebirth our dreams and visions. There is a strong sense of smooth flowing development and refinement of the inner self. This is a time to interact and explore on a deep inner level. This gives the potential for new patterns to form organically within you. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun Moon distance is “An Orangutan” which points to each of us sensing powerful primitive distortions deep within us. We are recognizing the need to refine and guide these forces into more mature expression. There is the possibility of distortion if you take for granted your right to do whatever you feel like in life without considering its effect on other people.
