At 7:26 AM EDT on October 17, the Full Moon occurs with the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Libra.
Today, Thursday (10/17/2024), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Mars joining with Saturn and Neptune (1*). The strongest vibrational influence today is about participating in a community that is open and exploratory and creative. This can involve working with others on projects. Today is definitely a day that favors working with others on projects. There is energy here to do the essential work, the hard work that it takes to make something happen. There is also an energy that relates to spiritual seeking. If you have others that you share with spiritually this would be a good time to connect in with them. (For VA Students: 25)

The Two Planet Diary

There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of the exact time of the aspect. At 3:28 PM, Venus enters Sagittarius. Venus in Sagittarius brings a feeling of attraction to distant places with a desire to explore both your external world and your internal world seeking beauty and love. This 25 days is a great time to explore places you have never been or to be attracted to something new and beautiful.
Oct 16 – Oct 18 (exact Oct 17) Venus in Scorpio is sharing freely (sextile) with Pluto in Capricorn. This energy is increasing in influence until it peaks at 8:30 AM on Oct. 17 then decreasing fading out around 4 AM on Oct. 18. This vibrational energy pattern brings an intense need to share beauty with others with a likelihood that you may find yourself being obsessed with your attraction to that which you find beautiful.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 12:09 AM, peaking at 2:09 AM, the Moon in Aries is sharing freely (sextile) with Jupiter in Gemini. This 4 hr period brings a sense of emotional expansion and optimism and a desire to reach out and interact with others socially.
Starting at 2:44 AM, peaking at 4:44 AM, the Moon in Aries is acting and agitating (square) with Mars in Cancer. In this 4 hr period you may find yourself more prone to be emotionally worked up. Doing something active will use the energy in a constructive way. Take a walk even if it’s just around the block or down the hall, do some squats, run in place, anything that uses the excess energy that is floating around right now.

Starting at 1:26 PM, peaking at 3:26 PM, the Moon in Aries is acting and agitating (square) with Pluto in Capricorn. In this 4 hr period you may feel a need to act based on deep feelings within you that may come to the surface at this time. Ask yourself whether you are responding to the past or the present. Try to not put ancient feelings on the people you are currently interacting with.
At 3:59 PM the Moon enters Taurus and for the next 2 ½ days you feel more like you are working with the world around you with everything evolving in its own way. There is a lot more patience here and a sense of life unfolding as it should with a sense that you and everything around you change in the ways that are natural and proper.

At 7:26 AM EDT on October 17, the Full Moon occurs with the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Libra. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on November 1, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern has a focus on taking action seeking to achieve your goals. This is combined with an attraction to operating in the moment along with a sensitivity to the cycles of time that are happening in the moment. This brings a potential to be operating out of internal fantasies and to not be in touch with the real world around you. Or passion and sensitivity may generate something really beautiful and attractive. It’s all a pattern of perception. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “Information in the symbol of an Autumn Leaf”. Here fundamental truths are revealed with their camouflage removed and the sense that life transcends the apparent end that occurs with death is heightened. It is important to realize that there is something more to what we are than what we experience each day in our lives. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Double Promise” which reminds us that the realm of spirit does support our free will choices while, at the same time, the realm of matter reflects back to us the patterns we carry within. There is a reminder here that if you try to manipulate the pattern to gain what you want, you will pay the price for this.
On October 2, the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Sun and Moon in Libra. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon Solar Eclipse on March 29, 2025. This vibrational energy pattern shows a strong need for the freedom to express yourself as you feel inside. This involves the development of your own unique pattern of expression being within your culture but free to operate as who you truly are with the awarenesses you have developed. If this is blocked there is likely to be a strong sense of dissatisfaction where you join with others and reach out seeking to find another more satisfactory place. The Sabian Symbol for the Solar Eclipse is “A Professor peering over his Glasses” which encourages you to move beyond your normal mode of perception to perceive a more comprehensive reality where others are viewed kindly, seriously and with respect.. The challenge is to not get caught up in a superior position that distorts your perception and leads to you seeing others as inferior to you where they need to be bossed around for their own good.
On September 22, the Fall Equinox occurred as the Sun entered Libra. This pattern will be influencing us until the Winter Solstice on December 21, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern brings a strong need to live life in a harmonious flow. This is a visceral need which you will seek to meet in the way you deal with the people around you. If you feel you are trapped in a situation that is not flowing for you there is the potential for violence. You are likely to be especially sensitive, impulsive and driven during this time period. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun Moon interaction is “A Muse weighing Twins”. This relates to weighing and evaluating the rational and irrational levels within you and realizing that they are reflections of each other. This is an opportunity to begin to understand that you need to learn to establish a balance between them based on a higher more expansive level of awareness within you that transcends both of them.
On September 17, 2024, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo. This pattern will be influencing us until the next Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on March 14, 2025. This vibrational energy pattern brings a focus on dreams and ideals that last past death. This is about tuning into the long term patterns of unfolding evolving awareness that transcend the resistance of the moment. There is a major focus in this eclipse on evaluation of your motives and drives to be sure you are getting the result you want. There is also a balancing of your individual view of life against what works for everyone else. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Boy with a Censer” which involves learning how to expand your awareness and accept responsibility for both yourself and your interactions with others by modeling yourself after those who are more spiritually experienced and developed. The Moon Symbol is “A New Moon that divides its Influences” which involves learning how to operate effectively in both the spiritual and the earthly realms based on a new vision and finding your unique way to respond to that vision. If you do not realize that everyone is connected you may start feeling alone and isolated.
On September 2, the New Moon occurred with the Moon and Sun in Virgo. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon Solar Eclipse on October 2, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern is permeated with a shared sense of restlessness and dissatisfaction. We are all reaching out seeking beautiful connections to others and more civility in our interactions. There is a sense of a soulful beauty that we could find a way to share together. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Bride with her Veil snatched away” which is about our concealment being ripped away and us each being forced to reveal ourselves and become vulnerable to transformative change. This is about us each making a commitment to open up and relate to those that are around us in a deeper, more meaningful way.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Mars >> Introductory Period of Mars: Turning Back of Jupiter: Reworking of Saturn, Uranus: Turning Forward of Neptune, Pluto {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area.
