The Two Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them.
There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of the exact time o fthe aspect. The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed here, followed by a section on the Moods of the Moon}.
Oct 18 – Oct 21 (exact Oct 20) Mercury in Scorpio is joining with Mars in Scorpio. This energy is increasing in influence until it peaks at 2:51 AM on Oct 20 then it is decreasing fading out around 8 PM on Oct 21. This vibrational energy pattern brings a strong burst of energy into your mental functioning. You are very good at connecting ideas together at this time. This is an excellent time to learn something new.
Aug 11 – Oct 27 (not exact) Uranus in Gemini is flowing freely (trine) with Pluto in Aquarius. They do not become exact, but this energy will be felt for the 2 ½ months. This vibrational energy pattern brings an intense need to be free and able to act spontaneously and genuinely. At this time you cannot tolerate a feeling of restriction and control.
Aug 2 – Dec 17 (exact Aug 28 and then Nov 20) Uranus in Gemini is sharing freely (sextile) with Neptune in Aries. This energy is decreasing fading out around 7 PM on Dec 17. This vibrational energy pattern brings a high level of sensitivity to the energy flows around you even if you can’t really describe what you are feeling. This sensitivity can result in sometimes unexplainable reactions to things that happen around you.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
At 12:01 AM the Moon enters Libra. The Moon in Libra for the next 2 ½ days will tend to focus on the nature of your interactions with others. The Libran Moon wants to relate to others as equals and to respect others and to be respected by those around you. Encouraging this type of interaction will be beneficial to everyone.
Starting at 10:10 PM yesterday, peaking at 12:10 AM early October 19, the Moon in Libra is opposing Neptune in Aries. This 4 hr period brings a feeling of dreaminess and vagueness as you are more connected into your dreams than into the everyday realities around you. This is a good time to share your dreams with someone you are close to.
Starting at 11:27 PM yesterday, peaking at 1:27 AM early October 19, the Moon in Libra is flowing freely (trine) with Uranus in Gemini. In this 4 hr period you have an easy sense of flexibility and ability to respond in the immediate moment by exploring curiously with others who are equal partners.
Starting at 12:43 AM, peaking at 2:43 AM, the Moon in Libra is flowing freely (trine) with Pluto in Aquarius. In this 4 hr period deep feelings within you that you have buried could affect your mood. Be aware that you may be reacting to the past rather than the present. Ask yourself if you have felt this way in the past and when and with whom. Be prepared to walk away from a situation if you get triggered.
Starting at 12:26 PM, peaking at 2:26 PM, the Moon in Libra is joining with Venus in Libra. This 4 hr period should bring some really good feelings and a focus on loving caring relationships where all people involved are sharing equally in the relationship.
The Cyclic Patterns Diary {These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}
On October 13, the Third Quarter Moon Phase was reached with the Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Libra. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on October 21, 2025. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings emotional expansion and growth related to whether you are going to put up boundaries and barriers or whether you are going to realize that we are all connected and that the welfare of each of us is the welfare of all of us. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Crowd upon the Beach”. This is about revealing the essence of yourself in all its beauty and distortions letting go of fear and truly accepting yourself. If you operate in deceptive ways you will feel the need to keep your distance from others in order to maintain the deception. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Prima Donna Singing”. Either you are humbly opening up and sharing your gifts or you are claiming a sense of entitlement and privilege feeling you are superior and entitled to special considerations.
On October 6, the Full Moon occurred with the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Libra. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on October 21, 2025. This Vibrational Energy Pattern shows a focus on taking traditional patterns and ways of operating and revising them so they work better in the modern world. There is an additional emphasis on learning to open up to being sensitive to the amazing new ways that ideas can be connected together. There is a potential here for sudden insights that can give a different understanding of and perspective on the things you are concerned about. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “Circular Paths”. This is about you operating from a sense of personal centered integrity, dealing with the circling patterns and cycles of life and relationship from a core sense of yourself, embracing the evolution of your core essence. There is a danger of getting caught up in repetitive experiences, making the same mistakes over and over, and not evaluating or changing your attitudes, emotional responses and behaviors, feeling comfortable with familiar patterns. The Moon Symbol is “An Indian weaving a Blanket” which is about recognizing that your life is linked to everything around you or refusing to connect in and feeling like your life is unraveling.
On September 22, the Sun entered Libra. This is the Fall Equinox. This Vibrational Pattern will be influencing us until the Winter Solstice on December 21, 2025. This Vibrational Energy Pattern shows the potential for either deception and betrayal or increased spiritual awareness. There is an underlying awareness of the importance of personal growth and development and a need to have this expressed more effectively in your culture. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun to Moon distance is “The President of the Country” which has to do with you claiming the authority of your position and accepting responsibility to act in ways that benefit all. There is danger of distortion if you are focusing on a sense of privilege, power and personal aggrandizement.
On September 21, the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Moon and Sun in Virgo. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse on February 17, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings an evaluation of emotional patterns and responses seeking to separate deception and betrayal from the seeking of deep spiritual truth. If you listen clearly in your heart you will know which is which. This is a time for people to focus inside themselves and explore the deeper aspects inside seeking to get past any barriers that keep you from connecting into your unique self and your gifts. You are encouraged to project the current patterns into the future and see what will bring the best results for everybody involved. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “A False Call unheard in attention to immediate service”. This is about the importance of totally focusing on the immediate project or development in which you’re engaged, ignoring all distractions, operating from a state of personal completion and fulfillment. There is danger in you being pulled away from critical tasks, responding to outside interruptions and losing your sense of yourself and your ability to pursue the opportunities available to you.
On September 7, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse on March 3, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern encourages us to see beyond our emotional reactions to the truth of this moment that we must learn to embrace that which we have previously excluded. We are challenged to adjust our visions of the future to see more clearly the possibilities for sudden insights into the deep archaic patterns that are holding us back from realizing our dreams. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “An Orangutan” which involves sensing powerful primitive distortions deep within you and recognizing the need to refine and guide those forces into more mature expression. It is dangerous in this energy pattern to take for granted your right to do whatever you feel like in life without considering its effect on other people. The Symbol for the Moon is “The Flow of Inspiration” which brings the potential for you to connect into the flow of spiritual inspiration moving through you and out into the world, If you close up and get caught in a cycle of negativity you will find your perceptions limited which will shut you off from others.
The Retrograde Diary: NO DEGREE CHANGES TODAY >> Introductory Period for Jupiter: Reworking of Saturn, Uranus, Neptune: Turning Forward of Pluto {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period.
