The Vibrational Astrology Diary
by Linda Berry
Today (5/3/19) the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Moon and Mercury joining with Jupiter (1*). This vibe takes us into our feeling nature and how our mind and feelings interact together. There is a flow here between the two bringing harmony between the mind and emotions. This is accompanied by a tendency to step back and get a little distance from both your feelings and your thoughts which helps you to get a larger perspective and to understand the big picture that your thoughts and feelings are forming and that you are experiencing in the world around you. This is a very effective vibe and will help you get clarity and make you more effective in any projects you are working on today.

The Dancing Two-Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them. There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of couple of hours either side of the time given. The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed first, followed by the Moods of the Moon}
May 2 – May 3 (exact May 2) Mercury in Aries is acting and agitating (square) with Pluto in Capricorn. This vibe is decreasing today until if fates around 8 AM. This involves very intense mental activity. You may find yourself extremely focused on a project, or a book, or something else of interest and unable to break free to do other things you were “supposed” to do.
May 2 – May 3 (exact May 2) Mercury in Aries is flowing freely (trine) with Jupiter in Sagittarius. This vibe is decreasing today until it fades out about 1 PM. This vibe enables you to step back and see the big picture rather than getting caught up in a lot of details.
The Moods of the Moon
{Remember that the quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of their listed time.}
Starting at 10:22 PM yesterday, peaking at 12:22 AM after midnight, the Moon in Aries is sharing freely (sextile) with Mars in Gemini. This 4 hr period brings a lot of energy and activity. This is a good time to expend energy in some way, maybe exercise or sports. If this is a time when you are supposed to be sleeping, you may find it hard to get to sleep.
Starting at 1:17 AM, peaking at 3:17 AM, the Moon in Aries is acting and agitating (square) with Pluto in Capricorn. This 4 hr period is a time fo very intense feelings that may be prone to go out of control. Recognize that you are being triggered by old patterns that you do not have to continue to express.
Starting at 2:06 AM, peaking at 4:06 AM, the Moon in Aries is flowing freely (trine) with Jupiter in Sagittarius. This 4 hr period brings a feeling of expansive probably optimistic feelings about whatever you are engaged in. This can feel very good, but you may be overly optimistic.
Starting at 2:47 AM, peaking at 4:47 AM, the Moon in Aries is joining with Mercury in Aries. This 4 hr period has the mind and feelings working in harmony together. This is a good time for working on important projects.
At 4:18 PM the Moon enters Taurus and for the next 2 ½ days you feel more like you are working with the world around you with everything evolving in its own way. There is a lot more patience here and a sense of life unfolding as it should with a sense that you and everything around you change in the ways that are natural and proper.
Starting at 8:15 PM, peaking at 10:15 PM, the Moon in Taurus is joining with Uranus in Taurus. This 4 hr period brings a sense of spontaneity and unpredictability. Give yourself the freedom to act on impulse, go someplace you hadn’t planned to go. You need to feel free and unfettered at this time. There is some potential for accidents if you are being too rigid.
The Cyclic Patterns Diary
{These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}
The Third Quarter Moon Phase started on Apr 26 with the Sun in Taurus and the Moon in Aquarius. There is a strong awareness of other people and how they are being affected by the culture and society we live in. This may include spontaneous insights into what it would take for people to be able to realize their dreams and a desire to make that possible for yourself and others. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Woman of Samaria” which is about reaching across the boundary between you and others to heal the wounds of alienation. The Moon Symbol is “A child born of an eggshell”. This offers us the opportunity to move out of self orientation into an awareness that what affects one of us affects all of us. The challenge is to not get trapped in your loneliness and alienation and to open up to new ideas that move beyond stereotypes and prejudices.
The Full Moon was on April 19 with the Sun in Aries and the Moon in Libra. This is an unusual Full Moon being the second Full Moon in Aries. This happens so rarely that I don’t think there is a special name for it. Uranus is strongly involved with this Full Moon which will likely bring some very unexpected surprises in the next two weeks. There will be a lot of reexamination of the things you have thought in the past and a lot of doubt about the answers that are being proposed to personal and social questions. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A duck pond and its brood” which is about recognizing the group of people you are connected with and either seeing that as all that is important or seeing how your group of people relate to the larger realm of all people and the world ecosystem. The Symbol for the Moon is “Three mounds of knowledge on a philosopher’s head” which recommends that we interconnect the intellect, the emotions and the spirit so that we may operate with more wisdom and a deeper understanding of our lives. The warning here is to not be dominated by any one of these areas to the exclusion of the others. In general this Full Moon calls for us to look at and balance out all of our relationships and keep all of our interactions in a clear perspective.
On April 5, the New Moon cycle began with the Sun and Moon joining together in Aries. This Moon cycle focuses on each of us connecting in with our sense of our own specialness no matter what the circumstances we are facing. The Sabian Symbol for this New Moon is “Brownies dancing in the setting sun which is about celebrating the joy of life that can be found within each moment of existence. There is a warning that if you lose contact with the spontaneous joy of life you may feel empty and disillusioned.
On March 20 the Sun officially entered Aries and Spring began. This is the Spring Equinox when the days and nights are of equal length. We are moving into the Spring and Summer when the days will be longer than the nights. This Spring Equinox happens just 4 hours before the Full Moon. This would indicate that some important things are going to come to a head this Spring. There is a focus here on our dreams and whether or not they are moving into reality. Internal thought patterns that others may not expect are driving our actions. The Sabian Symbol for the Moon is “A bald-headed man”. This spring people will be focused on whether the actions of those in control are based on concern for everyone involved or whether those in control are misusing their powers, not taking into account the concerns of the people affected.
The Eclipse pattern for the next 5 months focuses on how we use our power and whether our actions are sustainable. We are reminded that there are different perspectives on the truth and we need to reach down to a deeper level that brings a truer, clearer awareness. The dangers of an over inflated ego are especially focused with a reminder of the importance of stepping back for each situation and looking at what is really important. The next eclipse cycle will begin on July 2, 2019.
The Retrograde Diary:
Introductory Contact for Uranus: Turning Backward of Saturn, Neptune, Pluto: Reworking Patterns of Jupiter
{During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period. These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago. If an entry resonates with you, then claim it, if not, release it, it was for someone else. I would very much like your feedback on this.}
