The Vibrational Astrology Diary
by Linda Berry*

There is a trio of very significant events working together today setting a new shape on our world.
At 5:02 AM this morning the Winter Solstice occurs as the Sun enters Capricorn
At 1:20 PM the Jupiter Saturn Conjunction occurs.
Then at 6:41 PM the First Quarter Moon occurs with the Sun in Capricorn and the Moon in Aries

Yesterday and today, Monday (12/21/20) the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Jupiter and Saturn joining with Neptune (3*).  This vibration tunes into the spiritual awareness we can have of the deeper patterns that underlie and support our life here on earth. There is a sense here of expanding awareness that moves at a steady but comprehendible pace that we can incorporate into our lives. This is an organic creative growth process that enables us to more effectively connect with the world and with each other in harmonious creative ways that we embrace as a species. This is the promise of this conjunction that it helps to open the door to an understanding that embraces the deeper more foundational truths of life.

The Sabian Symbols of our Featured Planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune
The uplifting message from the featured planet positions that shows the way through: You are studying the shells remaining of ancient spiritual truths, making a deeper connection to the stability underlying reality as you open up to varying perspectives on the truth. You are participating in the transfer of higher knowledge and wisdom, recognizing that the knowledge needs to be separated from the person who is providing it.  The most dysfunctional expression of this message: You are dogmatically pushing your beliefs on others, believing that you know the one and only true way, seeking to force other people to follow your beliefs. You are claiming superior status and privileges based on your position and dogmatically insisting on your superior authority and achievements.

26 (3*) Need to find something special in interaction with others

The Dancing Two-Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses.  Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them.  There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of couple of hours either side of the time given.  The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed first, followed by the Moods of the Moon}

At 5:02 AM the Sun enters Capricorn and you may find yourself less emotional and more objective than at other times.  If you realize that this is the time of year when we step back and objectively evaluate our lives, then you can use this time to review the last year and see what you have learned and what you need to work on.

Dec 20 – Dec 26 (exact Dec 23) Mars in Aries is acting and agitating (square) with Pluto in Capricorn. This vibe is increasing in influence until it peaks at 9:53 AM on December 23 then decreasing fading out around 4 AM on December 26. This vibration is about the need to act in the ways that you sense are necessary whether anyone else agrees with you or not. There is an intensity here formed from seeing the pattern of unfolding and needing to respond to it.

Dec 18 – Dec 21 (exact Dec 19) the Sun in Sagittarius is joining with Mercury in Sagittarius. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 5 PM. This vibration brings the mind into focus with clear developed thinking seeking to reach out into new territory and discover new and different concepts. The Sabian Symbol for this joining is “A very overweight boy mowing the lawn”. It points to the importance of doing deep level cleansing and reconditioning of yourself rather than getting caught up in superficial appearances.

Dec 12 – Dec 26 (exact Dec 21) Jupiter in Aquarius is joining with Saturn in Aquarius. This vibe is increasing in influence until it peaks at 1:20 PM then decreasing fading out around 9 AM on December 30. This vibration balances the expansiveness and tendency towards unrestrained growth from Jupiter with the analysis and evaluation of what is really effective and how far you can expand effectively. This is an excellent vibration for personal growth or for growing and developing a business. The Sabian Symbol for this joining is “An Old Adobe Mission. It points to making a deeper connection to the stability underlying reality by opening up to varying perspective on the truth from ancient spiritual truths as well as modern patterns, recognizing that you don’t know everything seeking to learn from others rather than pushing them to agree with your ideas.

The Moods of the Moon
{Remember that the quick Moon patterns impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of their peak time.}

Starting at 3:24 AM, peaking at 5:24 AM, the Moon in Pisces is sharing freely (sextile) with Pluto in Capricorn. This 4 hr period connects you into the deep ancient patterns within you and lets you release some of the pressure as you share with others.

Starting at 4:33 PM, peaking at 6:33 PM, the Moon in Aries is sharing freely (sextile) with Saturn in Aquarius. This 4 hr period evaluates your life to see whether your feelings and behaviors are building the life you are looking for long term.
Starting at 4:36 PM, peaking at 6:36 PM, the Moon in Aries is sharing freely (sextile) with Jupiter in Aquarius. This 4 hr period is expansive and exuberant celebrating the joy of being alive and being with others.

At 5:32 PM the Moon enters AriesFor the next 2½ days you may find you want to do your own thing, this is when it is easiest to just go out and operate and express yourself in an independent manner.  This is a great time to explore something you have always wanted to look into.

At 6:41 PM, the Moon in Aries is acting and agitating (square) with the Sun in Capricorn. This is the First Quarter Moon.  See the Cyclic Patterns Diary.
Starting at 7:04 PM, peaking at 9:04 PM, the Moon in Aries is acting and agitating (square) with Mercury in Capricorn. This 4 hr period challenges you to balance contradictory impulses in your feelings and thoughts so you can act with integrity.

The Cyclic Patterns Diary
{These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}

At 6:41 PM the First Quarter Moon occurs with the Sun in Capricorn and the Moon in Aries. This vibration caps off the trio of significant astronomical events today. The vibration here is about the things we really must do. This vibration shows us growing emotionally evaluating our current patterns and keeping the things that serve our long term goals and letting go of things that don’t. This is combined with a deep need to honor and treasure the earth and the beauty of this world we live in and work to support and enhance that beauty.

The Jupiter Saturn Conjunction occurs at 1:20 PM.  See the first entry in the Diary above for a discussion of it.

At 5:02 AM this morning the Winter Solstice occurs as the Sun enters Capricorn. This sets the pattern for the next three months. And with the Jupiter Saturn conjunction today this sets the patterns for the next 20 years. There is a potential here for a new pattern to form that brings a sense of hope that we haven’t felt in a while. This involves facing the ways we act out of the darkness within us in confusion and pain and letting a new sense of light come in to clear out the pain and bring new life.  The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at every Winter Solstice is “An Indian Chief demanding Recognition” which points to the importance of each of us connecting in with a sense of inner security that brings us into our inner authority which lets us listen comfortably to others and give way when appropriate. This is combined with the Moon Symbol “An Inhabited Island” which helps us to connect deeply into ourselves this winter and recognize our own boundaries as we learn to balance our needs against the needs of those around us.

On December 14 a New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with both the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius. This eclipse will be influencing us until the start of the next Eclipse Season on May 26, 2021. This eclipse brings a strong focus on the mind and thinking clearly and communicating with others. But this is not just about sitting around and feeling and thinking. There is a push here to take action driven by a feeling of dissatisfaction with what is happening. The Sabian Symbol for this eclipse is “A Bluebird standing at the Door of the House” which is about recognizing your worth even if you are in a strange place, affirming and accepting the blessing and happiness being offered. There is a temptation to always be looking somewhere else for something that is better which can lead to you failing to see the blessings and happiness right at your door.

On November 30, there was a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse with the Moon in Gemini and the Sun in Sagittarius. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the New Moon Solar Eclipse on December 14. We are now in the Eclipse Season when everything gets reorganized. This vibration brings an awareness of the importance of being true to ourselves and that our true self is tuned into a greater reality of which we are a part, something greater than ourselves that we participate in. This is a call to open up to that greater reality, become one with it and be transformed by this experience. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Mother with her Children on Stairs” which reminds us that we are being guided with love and care through progressive levels of awareness and growth and this requires that we be open to help from others but that we recognize that we are each responsible for growing up and looking after ourselves rather than expecting to be taken care of. The Moon Symbol is “A Quiver filled with Arrows”. This reminds of the importance of recognizing the pain we carry within us and accepting that pain, then addressing it and working on healing it.

The Retrograde Diary: NO DEGREE CHANGES TODAY
Reworking Patterns of Uranus: Turning Forward Neptune: Resolution of Mars, Saturn, Pluto
{During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards.  These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period.  These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago.  If an entry resonates with you, then claim it, if not, release it, it was for someone else.  I would very much like your feedback on this.
