The Vibrational Astrology Diary
by Linda Berry
New Years Eve
Today (12/31/2018) Mars is joining with Saturn and Neptune (1*) to form the strongest vibration influencing you today. This gives you the impetus to focus on your highest and purest dreams and act on them. There is a sense of connecting in with the true essence of yourself and your own unique way of expressing things. You sense that expressing your true sense of things and doing things your own way is what is important and you are willing to take the risks necessary to do this.
The AstroFrequency(s) for the day (strongest listed first)
23 (1*) Focusing on one’s unique orientation to life and expressing that whatever the risks
The Dancing Two-Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them. There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of couple of hours either side of the time given. The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed first, followed by the Moods of the Moon}
At 9:20 PM Mars enters Aries. Mars will be in Aries until Feb. 14. This will bring a lot of energy. Mars is in its home place where it is free to act as it wants. There will be a tendency for people to go their own way and to do what they feeling like doing without regard to the expectations of others.
Dec 31, 2018 – Jan 3, 2019 (exact Jan 2) the Sun in Capricorn is joining with Saturn in Capricorn. This vibration begins at about 11 PM tonight and is increasing in influence until Jan 2 when it peaks at the very beginning of the day, right after midnight. This is about evaluating what is really important in your life, what has real meaning, what long lasting contribution are you making? There is a strong need here to focus on that which is really important and of long lasting impact and cut out everything else. You are tending to step back and objectively evaluate your life and are willing to make the changes you need to make in order to do what you need to do.
The Moods of the Moon
{Remember that the quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of their listed time.}
Starting at 12:46 PM, peaking at 2:46 PM, the Moon in Scorpio is sharing freely (sextile) with the Sun in Capricorn. This is a time of easy flowing pleasant emotions that will be very nice to spend with those you care about. Starting at 3:09 PM, peaking at 5:09 PM, the Moon in Scorpio is sharing freely (sextile) with Saturn in Capricorn. There is a tendency here to focus on your responsibilities and how meaningful and significant your actions are. The long-term meaning is everything is what you feel is important and you tend to want to only focus on that. Starting at 8:10 PM, peaking at 10:10 PM, the Moon in Scorpio is flowing freely (trine) with Neptune in Pisces. At this point in the evening you may find yourself shifting to your dreams and what you would like to have in your life. There is a need to answer the question: Does my life feel meaningful to me? If not, what do I need to change to bring more meaning into my life?
The Cyclic Patterns Diary
{These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}
The Third Quarter Moon was on Dec 29 with the Moon in Libra acting and agitating (square) with the Sun in Capricorn. This vibration will be felt until the next New Moon which is a Solar Eclipse on Jan 5, 2019. There is a focus on your dreams and visions for life, the things you dream of when you are focused deep within yourself. This Moon pattern will inspire you to act on those deep dreams. The Sabian symbol for the Sun is “Birds in the house singing happily”. The Moon symbol is “A blazing fireplace in a deserted home”. This brings an attunement to the light and love that is around you so that you can use this energy well as you clear your motives and tune into the universal spirit of life and love deep within you. You are encouraged to open up to receive this gift of universal love that rests deep within your subconscious and open up to it flowing into your life and nourishing you.
The Full Moon was on Dec 22 with the Sun in Capricorn opposing the Moon in Cancer. This pattern will be influencing you until the next New Moon which is a partial solar eclipse on Jan 5, 2019. This occurs about 18 hours after the Winter Solstice with the Sun still in 0 degrees of Capricorn. Thus a lot of things are going to come to fullness and be revealed this winter. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “An Indian chief demanding recognition” which addresses whether you operate from a natural inner authority, or whether you have an over-inflated view of yourself that demands recognition and lives in a world of power trips”. The symbol for the Moon is “A furled and unfurled flag displayed from a vessel”. This relates to making a commitment to a new orientation and giving up your old ways as you get in touch with who you are. The danger is that if you cannot tap into the deeper stability of your core self, you will be at the mercy of your moods constantly changing your allegiances and behaviors.
On Dec 21, 2018, the Sun entered Capricorn. This is the Winter Solstice and the official beginning of Winter. This pattern will be influencing us until the Spring Equinox on Mar 20, 2019. The theme of the Winter is to step back and look at the big picture while working with others in shared interchanges. The Sabian Symbol for the Moon is “A large archaic volume”. This is about looking at ancient beliefs and patterns and evaluating their effectiveness and relevance for today, then proceeding to change or release patterns that no longer work. It warns about the dangers getting caught in traditional patterns and viewing them as rules failing to understand their purpose in the past and how that may fit or not fit in today’s world.
The New Moon was on Dec 7 with the Sun and Moon joining in Sagittarius. This pattern will be influencing you until the next New Moon, a solar eclipse on Jan 5. The core energy in this New Moon and for this entire Lunar Month is a sense of restlessness and dissatisfaction. Everything is out of balance and not at all like you have dreamed it would be. The challenge of this New Moon is shown in its Sabian symbol, “Sea gulls watching a ship”. This is about the give and take of life as you act to meet your needs but let go of the things you no longer need so that they can help others. It is important to go ahead and act as you need to and not get caught in an illusion of helplessness and dependency on others to meet your needs.
The overview of the Current Eclipse Cycle of 3 Eclipses between July 12 and August 11. {We will be feeling the vibrational effect of the current eclipse cycle at least until the start of the next cycle on January 5, 2019. The following is the summary of the guidance from the Sabian Symbols for the eclipses in this cycle.}
Express your gifts as a natural outflow of who you are without feeling that you deserve special treatment. Your reactions to situations may come from problems in your past that have not been resolved with the current situation just being a trigger. You can receive guidance, knowledge and wisdom from the spirit world and from your ancestors helping you tune into ancient wisdom and understand how it can be effective in addressing the problems you face today. This will allow you to relax into an easy flow of interaction with other people where you are accepting other people and they are accepting you. Open up to your higher universal awareness and connections and let it guide you.

Turning Forward of Uranus: Final Resolution of Neptune, Pluto
{During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period. These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago. If an entry resonates with you, then claim it, if not, release it, it was for someone else. I would very much like your feedback on this.}
