The Vibrational Astrology Diary
by Linda Berry*
Today, Monday (2/8/21), the strongest vibrational influence comes from Venus joining with Jupiter and Saturn (1*). This vibration is about attraction to beauty and attraction to love. Those two are usually the same thing because what you are attracted to is beautiful to you and you love what you are attracted to. There is a strong interactive component to this energy, it is an exchange of energy with another. There is a sense of joy and excitement in this vibration, a sense of expansiveness. This is tempered by a strong awareness of what is really important and an evaluation of the attraction interaction process. The interaction is tested to see if it will last a long time and this pattern tends to feel that if it won’t last a long time, it isn’t even worth putting any energy into it.
The Sabian Symbols of our Featured Planets: Venus, Jupiter, Saturn
The uplifting message from the featured planet positions that shows the way through: You are studying the shells remaining of ancient spiritual truths, making a deeper connection to the stability underlying reality as you open up to varying perspectives on the truth. You are recognizing that you’re a part of the mystery, the spiritual drama of life, embracing and celebrating that mystery. You are perceiving the fluctuations in the people and the environment around you, recognizing the patterns that are in the process of forming and thus being able to predict and guide unfolding events. The most dysfunctional expression of this message: You are dogmatically pushing your beliefs on others, believing that you know the one and only true way, seeking to force other people to follow your beliefs. You are going through the motions, following traditional paths without really knowing why or using lies, deceit and manipulation to cover up your true motives or to force your world view on others. You are shifting and changing with every passing current, waiting and watching to see how others will react and constantly being so caught up in the currents that you’re blind to the patterns involved.

The Dancing Two-Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them. There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of couple of hours either side of the time given. The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed first, followed by the Moods of the Moon}
Feb 7 – Feb 8 (exact Feb 8) the Sun in Aquarius is joining with Mercury in Aquarius. This vibe is increasing in influence until it peaks at 8:48 AM then decreasing fading out around 8 PM on February 8. This vibration is the joining of the Sun with Mercury in the middle of Mercury Retrograde. This is the Sun interacting with the mental processes bringing the pattern for the next few months until the next Mercury Retrograde. It brings the message that you need to let go of the past and be true to yourself as best you can be in each moment of your life.
Feb 6 – Mar 2 (exact Feb 17) Saturn in Aquarius is acting and agitating (square) with Uranus in Taurus. This vibe is increasing in influence until it peaks at 2:07 PM on February 17 then decreasing fading out around 4 PM on March 2. This vibration brings a conflict between taking responsible long-term actions and doing whatever you feel like in the moment. There is a challenge here to learn how to spontaneously tune into the long-term patterns in this moment and spontaneously express that awareness.
The Moods of the Moon
{Remember that the quick Moon patterns impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of their peak time.}
Starting at 2:00 AM, peaking at 4:00 AM, the Moon in Capricorn is flowing freely (trine) with Uranus in Taurus. This 4 hr period is impulsive operating in the moment based on what is happening in that moment.
Starting at 7:21 PM, peaking at 9:21 PM, the Moon in Capricorn is flowing freely (trine) with Mars in Taurus. This 4 hr period is very energized and active. This is a good time to be doing physical activities, sports, exercise or getting on your feet and out there doing something that requires that you move around.
The Cyclic Patterns Diary
{These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}
On February 4 The Third Quarter Moon occurred with the Sun in Aquarius and the Moon in Scorpio. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 11. This vibrational pattern is highly energized with a focus on Mars. This brings the likelihood of actions that could generate a lot of anger or of angry actions that could have serious impacts on those around one. There is a message in this quarter moon that it is important to see the special core of each person that is trying to surface and interact with others. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Watchdog standing guard”. This is about being aware and alert to beliefs, attitudes or persons that may be acting to undermine or damage you. You are challenged to be alert without developing an overall suspiciousness of others and to recognize when your own negativity is coloring the responses you get from others. The Moon Symbol is “A Woman the Father of her own Child” which involves you giving birth to yourself as a conscious spiritual being connected into something beyond you. There is a danger of cutting yourself off from others and feeling alone and abandoned without support.
The Full Moon occurred on January 28 with the Moon in Leo and the Sun in Aquarius. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 11. This Full Moon vibration has a lot of keyed up, high strung energy that could potentially be triggered. This is energy that just wants to explode all over the place rather than operating in a balanced reasonable manner. The emotional feelings are likely going to feel like there is a tug of war between reasonable measured growth and big spontaneous actions right now. We may well be feeling this tug-of-war for this entire two weeks. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A popularity that proves ephemeral” which asks whether you will remain true to your sense of yourself and your personal integrity or betray who you are in order to retain your popular appeal. The Symbol for the Moon is “Early morning dew” which is about feeling a sense of nourishment, renewal, and refreshment after a long dark night of doubt and fear in which you were depressed and isolated from everything. You can either welcome the change and release and renewal or hold onto the difficulties, staying caught in depression so that you fail to see the new answers right in front of you.
On January 13, the New Moon occurred with the Sun and Moon in Capricorn. This energy will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 11. This vibration is focused in each person in their own evaluation of what is happening in the world around them. Each person is especially prone to act out of their internal sense of reference and ideas about themselves, the world, and life in general. This is a time when people are not open to the ideas of those around them and are unlikely to be influenced by others. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Woman entering a Convent”. This speaks to letting go of your own personal needs in order to be of service to others seeking a deeper, and more effective connection to the universal spirit of life. Take care not to neglect yourself and hide away so others will feel sorry for you.
On December 21 the Winter Solstice occurred as the Sun enters Capricorn. This sets the pattern for the next three months. And with the Jupiter Saturn conjunction today this sets the patterns for the next 20 years. There is a potential here for a new pattern to form that brings a sense of hope that we haven’t felt in a while. This involves facing the ways we act out of the darkness within us in confusion and pain and letting a new sense of light come in to clear out the pain and bring new life. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at every Winter Solstice is “An Indian Chief demanding Recognition” which points to the importance of each of us connecting in with a sense of inner security that brings us into our inner authority which lets us listen comfortably to others and give way when appropriate. This is combined with the Moon Symbol “An Inhabited Island” which helps us to connect deeply into ourselves this winter and recognize our own boundaries as we learn to balance our needs against the needs of those around us.
This current Eclipse season ended on December 14, 2020 and the next eclipse season will begin on May 26, 2021. The current eclipse season will be influencing us until the next one begins. The current eclipse cycle involved a push for action based on feelings of dissatisfaction. This is combined with an awareness of the importance of being true to ourselves and that our true self is tuned into a greater reality of which we are a part, something greater than ourselves that we participate in. This is a call to open up to that greater reality, become one with it and be transformed by this experience.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES: Mercury, Uranus
Introductory contact for Pluto: Reworking Patterns of Mercury: Resolution of Uranus and Neptune
{During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period. These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago. If an entry resonates with you, then claim it, if not, release it, it was for someone else. I would very much like your feedback on this. Points of especially concentrated energy are marked with “!”}
