Today, Monday (05/01/2023), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Sun and Mercury joining with Neptune (1*). The strongest vibrational pattern today is reaching out into the realms that are beyond this world, the realms where magic and mystery can touch our souls. There is a sense of feeling out of this world, a sense of the light and energy that can touch the depths of our souls. This is about that place within us where we figure out how we can express what we truly are in an authentic way. This pattern calls us to take action to connect into this amazing energy and to be sensitive to others and to sharing the experience with others. (For VA Students: 8, 16, 24, 32)

The Two Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them. There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of the exact time of the aspect. May 1 – May 2 (exact May 1) the Sun in Taurus is joining with Mercury in Taurus. This vibe begins to influence us around 5 AM and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 7:27 PM on May 1 then decreasing fading out around10:30 AM on May 2. This vibrational pattern works in our minds bringing a sense of organic growth in our ideas coming from exploration with the world around us. There is a new potential here that is evolving within us.
Apr 27 – May 1 (exact Apr 29) Mars in Cancer is sharing freely (sextile) with Uranus in Taurus. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 5 PM. This vibration brings the opportunity to interact spontaneously in the moment with your friends. There is the potential for quick thought patterns and resulting insights into whatever area you are focused on. Keep anotebook handy to write down thoughts and inspirations you may experience as they will tend to fade away like dreams if you don’t write them down.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 1:38 AM, peaking at 3:38 AM, the Moon in Virgo is flowing freely (trine) with Uranus in Taurus. In this 4 hr period you have an easy sense of flexibility and ability to respond in the immediate moment in a natural way based on tuning into beautiful universal structures that you can use to guide you.
Starting at 3:08 AM, peaking at 5:08 AM, the Moon in Virgo is sharing freely (sextile) with Mars in Cancer. In this 4 hr period you want to express your emotions in an active harmonious way sharing with others. This is a great time for group activities or meetings or for social sharing or for team sports.
Starting at 11:31 AM, peaking at 1:31 PM, the Moon in Virgo is acting and agitating (square) with Venus in Gemini. This 4 hr period brings a desire to feel beautiful. You will probably be more aware of your appearance and the appearance of the world around you. You may be moved to make something around you look nicer.
Starting at 5:53 PM, peaking at 7:53 PM, the Moon in Virgo is opposing Neptune in Pisces. This 4 hr period brings a feeling of dreaminess and vagueness as you are more connected into your dreams than into the everyday realities around you. This is a good time to share your dreams with someone you are close to.

On April 27 the First Quarter Moon occurred with the Sun in Taurus and the Moon in Leo. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the Full Moon on May 5. This energy concentration focuses on seeking to reach deep into the fundamental spiritual truths that underlie this world we live in and to understand ourselves and our world better because of these deep connections. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Sleigh without Snow” which tunes into the unfolding of future possibilities and works on developing the skills and tools needed to meet future situations. The Moon Symbol is “A Bolshevic Propagandist”. This involves tearing down the status quo in order to make space for changes that can improve people’s lives. The challenge is to learn to let go and reach out to embrace new possibilities.
On April 20 the New Moon a Solar Eclipse occurred with the Sun and the Moon in Aries. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse on October 14. This eclipse in Aries emphasizes our connection with ourselves and encourages you to find a way to do what you feel called to do deep within you. There is a focus on interacting with the world and exploring whatever we are drawn to. This process can be very creative. And with this vibration it leads to taking actions based on your discoveries. The Sabian Symbol for this eclipse is “A Duck Pond and its Brood”. This is about recognizing that you are operating within a bounded,limited sphere of activity where you are inter-linked with a particular group of people. It is important to realize that you are interconnected with people in a larger realm and to realize that you need to take into account this larger realm rather than just focusing on the needs of your group.
On March 20 the Spring Equinox occurred as the Sun enters Aries. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the Summer Solstice on June 21. This is the balancing point of the year when the days and nights are of equal length. This year’s Spring Equinox brings a strong feeling of needing to have your ideas be exceprtional and amazing. The vibration for Spring is deeply involved in sharing other people’s stories and there is a tendency to act based on the things you have learned from others to seek to make the lives of those around you better. The Sabian Symbol for the distance from the Sun to the Moon is “A master instructing his pupil. This is about participating in the transfer of higher knowledge and wisdom, being open to receiving deep insights from unexpected places. This energy becomes distorted if you claim a superior status and special privileges based on your position. This is about recognizing the worth and authority of each person.
The Retrograde Diary: NO DEGREE CHANGES TODAY >> Introductory phase of Saturn, Neptune: Turning Backward of Pluto: Reworking of Mercury: Resolution of Uranus {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period. These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago.
