Yesterday and today, Monday (10/23/2023), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Sun and Mercury joining with Saturn (1*). The strongest vibrational energy today brings a flowing energy of harmonious interaction with others and may involve interaction with a community of like minded people. The theme is a flow of analysis of whatever you are working with or involved in where you are sorting out what the deep fundamental essence is. This means identifying the core energy, the foundational structure of your area of focus. This can be especially interesting if a community of people are working together to get to the structure that will remain when all the superficial elements are removed. This is an excellent time to be involved in a project with others seeking to solve some problem of mutual interest. This can be a very exciting experience, enjoy! (For VA Students: 3, 6)

The Two Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them. There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of the exact time of the aspect. At 12:21 PM the Sun enters Scorpio For the next 30 days the Sun in Scorpio brings the tendency to merge with the people you are involved with and with the projects you are working on. This can be uncomfortable for those not used to it as you can feel like you are being swallowed up. If it gets too much, just step back for a couple of minutes and take a breath, or even take a walk around the block to help you temporarily disconnect.
Oct 23 – Oct 25 (exact Oct 24) the Sun in Scorpio is flowing freely (trine) with Saturn in Pisces. This vibe begins to influence us around 4 AM on Oct. 23 and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 3:13 AM on Oct. 24 then decreasing fading out around 3 AM on Oct. 25. This vibrational pattern is about a flowing sense of exactly what is the best most effective thing to do in every situation. There is a strong sense of responsibility with this vibrational energy.
Oct 21 – Oct 23 (exact Oct 22) Mercury in Scorpio is flowing freely (trine) with Saturn in Pisces. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 2:30 AM on Oct. 23. This vibrational pattern is analytical seeking to uncover the fundamental patterns and essence of each situation you are in.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 8:27 PM yesterday, peaking at 10:27 PM yesterday, the Moon in Aquarius is acting and agitating (square) with Jupiter in Taurus. In this 4 hr period your emotions will tend to expand. If you are feeling good, this can be great. If you are not feeling good, then this can be difficult. See if you can direct your feelings and thoughts to things that are pleasant and positive and you will be rewarded with some really good feelings.
Starting at 1:04 PM, peaking at 3:04 PM, the Moon in Aquarius is acting and agitating (square) with Uranus in Taurus. In this 4 hr period your emotions could be scattered all over the place with you feeling one thing one moment and another the next moment and you have the energy and desire to act on each of these things as it spontaneously surfaces. It is good to have a little bit of you watching this process and every once in a while saying, “I better wait on that one.”

On October 21 the First Quarter Moon occurred with the Moon in Capricorn and the Sun in Libra. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on October 28. This vibrational energy is acting based on a compelling need for your personal sense of beauty and proportion. This can involve an irrational response. There is a restless seeking, a reaching out seeking direct participation in a rich expansive beauty that flows among all the people involved. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “Humanity seeking to Bridge the Span of Knowledge”. This involves reaching out to span the generations and being open to the transfer of knowledge from others as you are seeking to transfer your knowledge to others. The Moon Symbol is “A Woman reading Tea Leaves” which brings greater clarity about the hidden level of reality as you open up your intuitive awareness and put aside your skepticism so that you are able to take responsibility for your impact on everything around you.
On October 14, 2023 the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurs with the Sun and Moon in Libra. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. This vibrational energy is particularly oriented towards involvement in creative groups. There is a desire to explore without an agenda and see what wonders you can find. This involves a passion for learning and applying what you have learned. There is a desire to expand emotionally at a pace you can handle effectively. There is also a need to go out and act and express yourself, make your life happen. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “A Child giving Birds a Drink at a Fountain”. This is about drawing from the fountain of spiritual nourishment, replenishing yourself and generously sharing with those around you who are not able to obtain it for themselves.
On September 23, the Fall Equinox occurred as the Sun entered Libra. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the Winter Solstice on December 21. At the Fall Equinox day and night are of equal length and we are moving towards the shorter days of Fall and Winter. This vibrational pattern is showing the Sun in relationship to Neptune and Pluto bringing a compulsive focus on your dreams and ideals and the potential for them to flow into realization in harmony with other people. There is a lot of mental energy with the potential to learn and develop new ideas and to try to act on your ideas and possibly get frustrated and angry if you are opposed. The desire is to bridge the gap in understanding and transmit to others what you have learned. There is also the potential for expanding your spiritual understandings during the Fall. The Sabian symbol for the Sun-Moon relationship is “Two Fairies on a Moonlit night”. You may discover two amazing, wonderful magical potentials illuminated in the darkness within you, the sensitive receptive potential and the potential to act in effective ways that bring your dreams to life, showing you that you are capable of being more than you ever dreamed of. On the flip side you may be misunderstanding what you are perceiving and getting caught up in illusion and fantasy which can result in being confused and irresponsible.
On May 5, the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Scorpio opposing the Sun in Taurus. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse on October 28. This vibrational pattern is expansive and seeking to understand the different ways people can understand the world. This is often done by participating in a culture that is different from your culture of origin. There is a strong need for the freedom to express yourself and to act on your feelings. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Bridge being built across a Gorge” which helps you connect to the next more expansive level of awareness beyond where you currently are operating. The Moon Symbol is “A Gold Rush”. This helps you find and identify the rigid patterns within you that are keeping you from connecting into the gold of your true self. You can break up these rigid structures and open up to a deeper truer understanding of yourself.
The Retrograde Diary: NO DEGREE CHANGES TODAY >> Reworking of Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune: Turning Forward of Saturn, Pluto {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards.
These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period. These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago.
