Today, Saturday (1/20/2024), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Sun and Moon joining with Pluto (2*). The strongest vibrational energy pattern today is related to natural flows and patterns of connection. Here we see flowing action, flowing creativity, flowing deep internal patterns, flowing manifestations, flowing patterns of exchange among people and many other types of natural flow that are almost unnoticed. They occur subliminally and make life possible. This energy is connecting into the deep collections of energy that can interfere with energy flows. It smoothes these deep possibly disruptive patterns out and they move more easily and freely. This is a time to be especially aware of the energy flows and patterns around you and get in harmony with them. This can bring you things you never dreamed were possible. The Two Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them.
There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of the exact time of the aspect. The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed here, followed by a section on the Moods of the Moon}
At 9:07 AM the Sun enters Aquarius and becomes focused for the next 30 days on participating in group processes. We are all a part of many groups including our family, our friends, our community, our country and our world. The Sun in Aquarius finds satisfaction in being a part of its groups and contributing to the functioning and well being of those groups.
At 7:56 PM Pluto enters Aquarius. It will move between Capricorn and Aquarius this year before it settles in Pluto for 14 years. This will bring a focus on your networks and connections to each other and flaws in those processes are likely to be revealed giving us the opportunity to correct these issues.
Jan 19 – Jan 21 (exact Jan 20) the Sun in Capricorn is joining with Pluto in Capricorn. This vibe is increasing in influence until it peaks at 8:46 AM on Jan. 20 then decreasing fading out around 9 AM on Jan. 21.This vibrational energy pattern brings an intense need to tune into your mission and purpose and focus on expressing your mission. At this time you need to find some way to get more tuned into and more active in doing what you feel you are born to do.
Jan 18 – Jan 20 (exact Jan 19) Venus in Sagittarius is acting and agitating (square) with Neptune in Pisces. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 9 AM on Jan.20. This vibrational energy pattern is attracted to the beauty of your dreams and ideals and focuses on taking action on these dreams.
Jan 18 – Jan 20 (exact Jan 19) Mercury in Capricorn is flowing freely (trine) with Jupiter in Taurus. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 12:30 AM on Jan. 20.This vibrational energy pattern brings an objective view of the big picture giving the ability to step back and see the broader picture of what is happening.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 10:40 PM yesterday, peaking at 12:40 AM early January 20, the Moon in Taurus is sharing freely (sextile) with Neptune in Pisces. This 4 hr period could bring a distracted dreamy feeling when you are not really sharply focused. Instead you may find yourself day-dreaming about what you would like your life to be like. This is a good time to dream, but not a good time to act on those dreams. Wait until you are thinking more clearly.
Starting at 6:56 AM, peaking at 8:56 AM, the Moon in Taurus is flowing freely (trine) with Pluto in Capricorn. In this 4 hr period deep feelings within you that you have buried could affect your mood. Be aware that you may be reacting to the past rather than the present. Ask yourself if you have felt this way in the past and when and with whom. Be prepared to walk away from a situation if you get triggered.
Starting at 6:57 AM, peaking at 8:57 AM, the Moon in Taurus is flowing freely (trine) with the Sun in Capricorn. In this 4 hr period your mood and emotional feelings are likely to be balanced and soft and you are just more likely to feel in harmony with yourself. This is a good time to engage in projects you need to do.
At 8:58 AM the Moon enters Gemini bringing 2 ½ days where your mood may be light hearted and you may just feel like exploring your world especially in combination with spending time with friends. This is a wonderful time to stop and smell the roses or walk down the main drag in your town go into some of the shops you have never been in to just learn what they are doing. You may discover something really exciting.
Starting at 4:32 PM, peaking at 6:32 PM, the Moon in Gemini is acting and agitating (square) with Saturn in Pisces. This 4 hr period is a time when you want to focus on what is really important in your life and take actions to support those things. This could involve things like working on long-term projects or cleaning out the things that are not important. So this is a good time to clean up something that has been bothering you.

On January 17, the First Quarter Moon occurred with the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Capricorn. This pattern will be influencing us until the Full Moon on January 25, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern is connected into deep patterns within us that are affecting our behavior. It challenges us to evaluate our motives and drives, especially one’s that are subconscious and see if we are really operating in the ways we would like to operate. Are you accomplishing the things that you want to accomplish in your life? You have to pull up your subconscious patterns and beliefs and see if they are bringing the results you want. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Large Aviary” which recognizes that we are entering into more profound levels of spiritual awareness and being able to recognize spiritual messages in all that is around us. We need to learn to sort out the true messages in the many experiences we are having. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Large Disappointed Audience”. This is about being confronted with the results of your lack of awareness, personal preoccupation and blindness that may have disappointed and hurt others. You can either face your failings and mistakes or you can hold onto your personal perspective and get angry with others for not going along with your agenda and your personal preoccupations.
On January 11, the New Moon occurred with the Moon and Sun in Capricorn. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 9, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern is quite compelling. There are deep emotional patterns that may surface at this time and influence our behavior. It is likely that we will tend to think very quickly and impulsively express our thoughts without regard to how those thoughts will impact others. Our communities, the groups we are associated with are feeling very important at this time and we may find creative ways to support our communities. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Relay Race”. This is about learning to work with others with each of us doing their part as you strive to reach a common goal.
On December 21 the Winter Solstice occurred as the Sun entered Capricorn. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the Spring Equinox on March 19. This is the shortest day of the year. After the Winter Solstice the days start getting longer and by the Spring Equinox the temperature starts to catch up with the lengthening days. The Solstice brings a flow of unfolding energy that contains the potential for a rebirth in our understanding of both the past and the present. There is a sense of being called to walk in harmony with the people and the world around us as we tune into what is really fundamental and foundational. The Vibration between the Sun and the Moon gives us the Sabian Symbol of “A Case of Apoplexy”. Apoplexy is an old name for something like a stroke where you are temporarily unconscious from an overload in your system. This speaks to very contradictory feelings wanting to express but feeling anxious and fearing disapproval. This is about facing that which is within you that may be inhibiting your ability to truly express what you are. You are meant to shine as a reflection of the one light connecting into something beyond yourself.
On October 28 the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio. This vibrational energy pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse on Mar 25, 2024. This vibrational energy brings a deep desire to expand your emotional connections and to learn new and different things. There is an underlying whisper of dreams of beauty and exotic experiences. There may be some tendency to project your dreams into the world and not know what is real and what is not. There is a strong need to participate in a new and different worldview that will at least give the hope of involvement in a creative community. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Gold Rush” which can represent you going out into the rugged dangerous depths of yourself and seeking to break up the rigid structures within you that are keeping you from connecting into the gold of your true self. The Moon Symbols is “A Bridge being built across a Gorge”. Here is the opportunity to build a bridge that will cross the abyss and connect you to the next level of awareness. This is not something we can do by ourselves, but if you ask for help from spirit, you will receive it.
On October 14, 2023 the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Sun and Moon in Libra. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. This vibrational energy is particularly oriented towards involvement in creative groups. There is a desire to explore without an agenda and see what wonders you can find. This involves a passion for learning and applying what you have learned. There is a desire to expand emotionally at a pace you can handle effectively. There is also a need to go out and act and express yourself, make your life happen. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “A Child giving Birds a Drink at a Fountain”. This is about drawing from the fountain of spiritual nourishment, replenishing yourself and generously sharing with those around you who are not able to obtain it for themselves.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Mercury, Pluto >> Introductory Period for Pluto: Turning Forward of Uranus, Neptune: Resolution of Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards.
These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period. These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago.
