The Moods of the Moon

At 8:45 AM, the Moon enters Sagittarius. The Moon in Sagittarius brings exuberant feelings and a desire to explore your external world and your internal world. This 2 ½ days is a great time to explore someplace you have never been or to learn something new that you have been wondering about.
Starting at 10:45 AM, peaking at 12:45 PM, the Moon in Sagittarius is opposing Uranus in Gemini. You may be feeling pretty independent right now and more touchy about other people being in control of what you are doing. You will have a tendency to react. Right now you want to do what you feel like doing right this moment and you don’t want to worry about what other people feel about it. Remember other people are feeling the same way and give them the same space that you are needing at the moment.
Starting at 2:52 PM, peaking at 4:52 PM, the Moon in Sagittarius is flowing freely (trine) with Neptune in Aries. This 4 hr period takes you into your dreams, they are living inside you and you are feeling them. You may find yourself daydreaming more than usual. You can use this time to get deeply in touch with your dreams and draw inspiration from them to help you make them more real.
Starting at 5:34 PM, peaking at 7:34 PM, the Moon in Sagittarius is sharing freely (sextile) with Pluto in Aquarius. In this 4 hr period there is an easier connection into deeply buried feelings than at other times. There is an opportunity here to share these deep levels with your friends and to be open to them sharing their deep feelings with you. This exchange can sometimes have a healing quality and reduce the pain within you and your friends.

On May 23, the First Quarter Moon Phase was reached with the Moon in Virgo and the Sun in Gemini. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the Full Moon on May 31, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern is about taking action to express your way of looking at the world, pushing this out without regard to how others will handle it. You strongly need to be yourself whatever the consequences. You may get pushback if your communication is not relevant to the people around you. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “The Garden of the Tuileries” which is about you having a beautiful model for organizing the gifts within you. There will likely be problems if you use these patterns to pretty up or rationalize deeper internal patterns of distortion. The Symbol for the Moon is “Two Angels bringing Protection”. This is an opportunity for you to open up to the protection of the divine as you are connecting with an inner sense of guidance that brings you help and assistance. If you do not open up you may experience feelings of being lost and alone.
On May 16, the New Moon occurred with the Sun and Moon in Taurus. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on June 14, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern is focused on making shifts in our ways of operating within ourselves and with the world. There is an opportunity here to shift our personal awareness into to new frame of reference that previously felt foreign to us. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Spaniard serenading his Senorita” which is about refocusing the assertive/aggressive aspect of yourself finding the value of love and gentleness and realizing that you are yearning to connect into the buried beauty within you. To continue forging ahead seeking to assert your will and operating from your own desires without thought for how it affects other will not be a profitable mode of operation at this time.
On March 20, the Spring/Fall Equinox occurred as the Sun entered Aries. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us at least until the Summer/Winter Solstice on June 21, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern is especially focused on finding ways to share your sense of life with other people. There is a strong desire to support good positive connections to society and to seek to communicate your sense of how to live in society in a way that works for everyone. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun Moon relationship at the Spring Equinox is “A Pugilist entering the Ring” which is about having a strong sense of yourself as a person who is willing to stand up for yourself and fight for what you know and believe in no matter what the opposition. If you fail to effectively defend your point of view you will have to deal with the consequences.
On March 3, the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Virgo and the Sun in Pisces. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse, on August 28, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse, on August 28, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern is about stepping back and seeing the big picture. There may be a lot of emotional activity connected with this eclipse. There is also the potential for exceptional communication that can be very effective. This pattern shows that there is a potential to act out of your personal concepts without taking other people into account. There are hidden things going on that have the potential to be revealed and cause a big shift in understanding. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Sword in a Museum”. This presents a choice. You can lay aside the use of force to gain your ends and embrace love and peace, both within yourself and in your interactions with others. Or you can hold grudges and be ready to fight others at any sign of opposition. Or you can give up in defeat and feel worthless and useless. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Strong Hand supplanting Political Hysteria”. Here the power of your personality and your spiritual awareness is acting to calm the situation down. Alternatively, you are being too timid and afraid to take action, losing the opportunity to gain control; or using your power and energy to manipulate the reactions of others for your personal gain.
On February 17, the Solar Eclipse (a New Moon) occurred with the Moon and Sun in Aquarius. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse, on August 12, 2026.This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings a sudden unexpected change that surprises everyone. The energy is focused on internal evaluation of the patterns that you are seeing around you with you seeing what changes are needed to reestablish a flow within the social structure. There is the capacity here to take the actions that will bring about that change. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “Butterfly emerging from Chrysalis”. This speaks of emerging from a long period of suspended confinement within a transformative cocoon. You are discovering that you have experienced a complete metamorphosis of your personal self in this time period. The key is to open up to new and different experiences and not hold onto the old limited form.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Uranus >> Introductory Period of Saturn, Uranus: Turning Backward of Neptune, Pluto: Resolution of Jupiter. {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area.
