At 5:10 PM EDT on May 9, the Third Quarter Moon Phase is reached with the Moon in Aquarius and the Sun in Taurus.
Yesterday and today, Saturday (5/9/2026), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Sun and Mars joining with Pluto (0*). This Vibrational Energy Pattern is about acting out of the deep patterns within you in a direct way without taking into account how anyone else views the matter. There is an intense, compulsive drive to achieve your goals that is primary to this pattern, but it is hard to anticipate the reactions to what you are doing and you may experience some push back. For two days now this vibrational energy pattern is better and more effectively implemented by you connecting into a network and carrying your part of the load trusting others will do the same where everyone takes equal responsibility developing your project while developing themselves as a unique individuals and encouraging others to do the same

May 9 – May 12 (exact May 10) the Sun in Taurus is sharing freely (sextile) with Jupiter in Cancer. This energy begins to influence us around 5 PM on May 9 and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 10:14 PM on May 10 then it is decreasing fading out around 4 AM on May 12. This vibrational energy pattern brings the opportunity to share with others, especially friends, in warm expansive experiences.
The Moods of the Moon

Starting at 9:16 PM yesterday, peaking at 11:16 PM yesterday, the Moon in Aquarius is sharing freely (sextile) with Saturn in Aries. In this 4 hr period you find it easy to accept responsibility and work comfortably with others getting the things done that really need to be done.
Starting at 2:07 AM, peaking at 4:07 AM, the Moon in Aquarius is acting and agitating (square) with Mercury in Taurus. This 4 hr period involves your emotions and moods stimulating your mind and results in you needing to balance your mind and emotions in order to act in clear constructive ways. It is important for you to pay attention to your feelings and your thoughts on whatever is happening now and remember to think before you act.
Starting at 2:40 PM, peaking at 4:40 PM, the Moon in Aquarius is flowing freely (trine) with Venus in Gemini. This 4 hr period brings a very nice flow of love and good feelings. This can be a special time to share with those you care about.

In this 4 hr period you want to express your emotions in an active harmonious way sharing with others. This is a great time for group activities or meetings or for social sharing or for team sports.

This Vibrational Energy Pattern involves facing our dreams and visions and whether they are manifesting. There is the potential here for vague foggy difficulty in focusing and connecting in with what is actually happening. If you stay with it and are patient this will clear up in a few days with the New Moon. This is not a good time to be making long-term life changing decisions. Wait until after the New Moon. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “Wind, Clouds and Haste”. This is about opening up to experience the movements and fluctuations of energy within you learning where the energy flows freely and where there is damage or blockage that interferes with the energy flow. On May 1, the Full Moon occurred with the Moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Taurus. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on May 16, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings you to an internal reevaluation of your goals and your drives. You are looking at the reasons you make your decisions and seeing whether you are ending up with the results you want. There is a potential here for expansion through reorganizing your personal drives. You find yourself exploring the world around you and taking action to change the experiences you and those around you are having. This is combined with a strong need to support your society and what it could potentially be. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “Window-Shoppers” which shows you opening to a growing awareness of all the opportunities and possibilities available to you. The Symbol for the Moon is “An Embassy Ball” which is about you recognizing your worth and the worth of others, being able to make connections and relate to others based on everyone putting their best foot forward and following good manners and established codes of behavior. The dark side of this is about feeling inadequate and discouraged by the impossibility of getting what you desire and feeling that you don’t fit in and are out of your depth being unable to follow good manners and established codes of behavior.
On April 17, the New Moon occurred with the Moon and Sun in Aries. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on May 16, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern focuses on the need to include the elements of society that are normally excluded from the equation. This is a call for radical inclusion in this moment of the things that are being ignored, denied or swept under the rug. This pattern is joined to the New Moon which makes it a central focus. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Large Disappointed Audience”. This is about being confronted with the results of your lack of awareness, personal preoccupation and blindness that have disappointed and hurt others and yourself, facing your failings and engaging in the self-evaluation that will enable you to grow and change. If you hold onto old ego patterns and only see your own point of view, you will likely become angry with others for not going along with your personal preoccupations and agenda.
On March 20, the Spring/Fall Equinox occurred as the Sun entered Aries. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us at least until the Summer/Winter Solstice on June 21, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern is especially focused on finding ways to share your sense of life with other people. There is a strong desire to support good positive connections to society and to seek to communicate your sense of how to live in society in a way that works for everyone. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun Moon relationship at the Spring Equinox is “A Pugilist entering the Ring” which is about having a strong sense of yourself as a person who is willing to stand up for yourself and fight for what you know and believe in no matter what the opposition. If you fail to effectively defend your point of view you will have to deal with the consequences.

This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse, on August 12, 2026.This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings a sudden unexpected change that surprises everyone. The energy is focused on internal evaluation of the patterns that you are seeing around you with you seeing what changes are needed to reestablish a flow within the social structure. There is the capacity here to take the actions that will bring about that change. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “Butterfly emerging from Chrysalis”. This speaks of emerging from a long period of suspended confinement within a transformative cocoon. You are discovering that you have experienced a complete metamorphosis of your personal self in this time period.
