At 10:03 AM EST on December 21, the Winter Solstice occurs as the Sun enters Capricorn.
Today, Sunday (12/21/2025), the strongest vibrational influence comes from Mercury and Mars joining with Neptune (0*). There are no vibrational energies strong enough to be a focus for the energy today. Instead there are several clusters of energy and you will tend to be attracted to the one that you resonate with the most. The largest energy concentration is in the featured pattern Mercury, Mars, Neptune which is attuned to the life experiences and issues of the people around you seeking to learn about what is happening to the people around you and encourage them to reach for their dreams. The second strongest pattern is Sun, Venus, Mars which brings a sense of involvement in the sense of beauty within you and how you can express it in the world. The third strongest pattern is Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto which sees the patterns in the society around you and evaluates those patterns seeking revisions that will work better. This vibrational energy pattern is better and more effectively implemented by recognizing the need for flexibility and being open to a complete change in your mode of operation where you are tapping into yourself and sensing what you need to do and expressing this guided by the universal pattern that it embodies.

At 10:03 AM the Sun enters Capricorn which is the Winter Solstice and you may find yourself less emotional and more objective than at other times. If you realize that this is the point in the Sun’s cycle when objective expression occurs, then you can use this time to review the last year and see what you have learned and what you need to work on. Dec 20 – Dec 21 (exact Dec 21) Venus in Sagittarius is acting and agitating (square) with Saturn in Pisces. This energy is increasing in influence until it peaks at 12:09 AM on Dec 21 then it is decreasing fading out around 8 PM on Dec 21. This vibrational energy pattern brings a sense of a true beauty that is at the core of everything we experience in life and the desire to act on that true beauty moving beyond personal self interest into a sense of something greater and more important.
Dec 19 – Dec 21 (exact Dec 20) the Sun in Sagittarius is acting and agitating (square) with Neptune in Pisces. This energy is decreasing fading out around 8 PM on Dec 21. This vibrational energy pattern is about tuning into the dream or vision that is central to your life everyday and making that vision manifest in the world around you whether other people are comfortable with it or not.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 6:26 PM, peaking at 8:26 PM, the Moon in Capricorn is opposing Jupiter in Cancer. In this 4 hr period you will be feeling optimistic and expansive and wanting to expand your horizons by having new experiences and getting to know new people. This is a really good time to be involved in social interactions with other people.

At 10:03 AM EST on December 21, the Sun enters Capricorn which is the Winter Solstice. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us at least until the Spring Equinox on March 20, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings an awareness of natural beauty and a drive to contribute to it. This can be expressed either through deception and betrayal or by attuning to the highest spiritual awarenesses and transcending distorted ego patterns. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun to Moon relationship at the Solstice is “A Sword in a Museum” which speaks to laying aside the use of force to gain your ends and embracing love and peace both within yourself and in your interactions with others. If you refuse to do this you are likely to get caught in a pattern where you are holding grudges and being ready to fight others at any sign of opposition or possibly giving up in defeat and feeling worthless and useless.
On December 19, the New Moon occurred with the Moon and Sun in Sagittarius. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the New Moon on January 18, 2025. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings the dissolving of old patterns and structure and the emerging of new patterns. There is a sense of reaching out to connect in with a new level spiritual awareness. This is combined with a need to be more appropriately responsive to the patterns happening spontaneously in the moment. This is driven by a sense of dissatisfaction that senses the need to make changes in the structure of the community you live in. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Fat Boy mowing the Lawn” which speaks to the need to cleanse and recondition yourself through hard work that cuts through the ragged overgrown expanses within you to reveal a formalized beauty that show something true and fundamental in the depths of your being. You are recognizing the importance of not getting caught up in superficial appearances.
On September 21, the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Moon and Sun in Virgo. This Vibrational Pattern will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse on February 17, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings an evaluation of emotional patterns and responses seeking to separate deception and betrayal from the seeking of deep spiritual truth. If you listen clearly in your heart you will know which is which. This is a time for you to focus inside yourself and explore the deeper aspects inside seeking to get past any barriers that keep you from connecting into your unique self and your gifts. You are encouraged to project the current patterns into the future and see what will bring the best results for everybody involved. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “A False Call unheard in attention to immediate service”.This is about the importance of totally focusing on the immediate project or development in which you’re engaged, ignoring all distractions, operating from a state of personal completion and fulfillment. There is danger in you being pulled away from critical tasks, responding to outside interruptions and losing your sense of yourself and your ability to pursue the opportunities available to you.
On September 7, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurs with Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo. This Vibrational Pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse on March 3, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern encourages us to see beyond our emotional reactions to the truth of this moment showing that we must learn to embrace that which we have previously excluded. We are challenged to adjust our visions of the future to see more clearly the possibilities for sudden insights into the deep archaic patterns that are holding us back from realizing our dreams. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “An Orangutan” which involves sensing powerful primitive distortions deep within you and recognizing the need to refine and guide those forces into more mature expression. It is dangerous in this energy pattern to take for granted your right to do whatever you feel like in life without considering its effect on other people. The Symbol for the Moon is “The Flow of Inspiration” which brings the potential for you to connect into the flow of spiritual inspiration moving through you and out into the world, If you close up and get caught in a cycle of negativity you will find your perceptions limited which will shut you off from others.
The Retrograde Diary: NO DEGREE CHANGES TODAY >> Reworking of Jupiter, Uranus: Turning Forward of Saturn, Neptune: Resolution of Pluto. {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period.
