The Vibrational Astrology Diary
by Linda Berry*
Yesterday and today, Sunday (1/17/21) the strongest vibrational influence comes from Mars joining with Jupiter and Uranus (1*). This vibration is about sudden expansive actions that you feel you have to do. There is a sense of explosiveness in this vibration and it is so full of action, big unpredictable actions. This is combined with a strong sense of dissatisfaction and restlessness that pushes you to search for a different place to be. This is a difficult vibration, however, it is not as strong as it could be. Be prepared to take a second to check before you act or you are likely to do something unexpected that has consequences that you don’t really want. There is a potential for some amazing actions here if you can stay on the upbeat optimistic side of things.
The Sabian Symbols of our Featured Planets: Mars, Jupiter, Uranus
The uplifting message from the featured planet positions that shows the way through: You are experiencing love that recognizes your alienation and embraces it; reaching across the abyss to affirm you. You are bringing to birth within yourself a new type of being that no longer is bound by the human dilemmas. You are calling the light back into the lengthening night that light may be reborn in the darkness within you. You are moving into expression of your true power, bringing your ideas into concrete expression, no longer worrying about proving yourself to others. The most dysfunctional expression of this message: You are rejecting the love being offered; as you continue to focus on your separateness, alienation and loneliness. You are being afraid of new ideas, refusing to believe what is right in front of you, operating out of stereotypes and prejudicial thinking. You are getting caught up in the darkness and being swallowed by it. You are being swept away by the power and influence of those around you, being caught up in their ideas.

The Dancing Two-Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them. There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of couple of hours either side of the time given. The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed first, followed by the Moods of the Moon}
Jan 13 – Jan 22 (exact Jan 17) Jupiter in Aquarius is acting and agitating (square) with Uranus in Taurus. This vibe is increasing in influence until it peaks at 5:49 PM then decreasing fading out around 1 AM on January 22. This vibration is about big sudden actions that are driven by the feelings of the moment, not by any sense of expectations or responsibilities. This can be very light and buoyant and delightful. Thus this can sometimes bring about good social interactions.
The Moods of the Moon
{Remember that the quick Moon patterns impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of their peak time.}
Starting at 2:35 AM, peaking at 4:35 AM, the Moon in Pisces is joining with Neptune in Pisces. This 4 hr period is about tuning into your dreams and ideals, the possibilities out there rather than the current reality.
Starting at 1:55 PM, peaking at 3:55 PM, the Moon in Pisces is sharing freely (sextile) with Pluto in Capricorn. This 4 hr period helps you tap into and process deep, ancient emotional feelings, being able to release them, perhaps cleanse them from your system.
Starting at 8:44 PM, peaking at 10:44 PM, the Moon in Pisces is sharing freely (sextile) with the Sun in Capricorn. This 4 hr period is a time of emotional balance and flow. This is a good time to share with friends and family in social interactions.
The Cyclic Patterns Diary
{These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}
On January 13, the New Moon occurred with the Sun and Moon in Capricorn. This energy will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 11. This vibration is focused in each person in their own evaluation of what is happening in the world around them. Each person is especially prone to act out of their internal sense of reference and ideas about themselves, the world, and life in general. This is a time when people are not open to the ideas of those around them and are unlikely to be influenced by others. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Woman entering a Convent”. This speaks to letting go of your own personal needs in order to be of service to others seeking a deeper, and more effective connection to the universal spirit of life. Take care not to neglect yourself and hide away so others will feel sorry for you.
On December 21 the Winter Solstice occurred as the Sun enters Capricorn. This sets the pattern for the next three months. And with the Jupiter Saturn conjunction today this sets the patterns for the next 20 years. There is a potential here for a new pattern to form that brings a sense of hope that we haven’t felt in a while. This involves facing the ways we act out of the darkness within us in confusion and pain and letting a new sense of light come in to clear out the pain and bring new life. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at every Winter Solstice is “An Indian Chief demanding Recognition” which points to the importance of each of us connecting in with a sense of inner security that brings us into our inner authority which lets us listen comfortably to others and give way when appropriate. This is combined with the Moon Symbol “An Inhabited Island” which helps us to connect deeply into ourselves this winter and recognize our own boundaries as we learn to balance our needs against the needs of those around us.
This current Eclipse season ended on December 14, 2020 and the next eclipse season will begin on May 26, 2021. The current eclipse season will be influencing us until the next one begins. The current eclipse cycle involved a push for action based on feelings of dissatisfaction. This is combined with an awareness of the importance of being true to ourselves and that our true self is tuned into a greater reality of which we are a part, something greater than ourselves that we participate in. This is a call to open up to that greater reality, become one with it and be transformed by this experience.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES: Mercury
Introductory contact for Mercury, Pluto, Turning Forward Uranus, Neptune: Resolution of Pluto
{During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period. These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago. If an entry resonates with you, then claim it, if not, release it, it was for someone else. I would very much like your feedback on this. Points of especially concentrated energy are marked with “!”}
