Today, Sunday (1/28/2024), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Mercury and Mars joining with Uranus (4*). The strongest vibrational energy today is about the natural flow of life and our interactions with each other when there are not strong disagreements among people. This is ideally what our interactions with people and with our communities involve. We find ways to accomplish our goals without upsetting other people. We get very creative about how we communicate and explore creative ways of working together. This is the way the energy today feels. In this sphere of harmonious cooperative action we can learn and develop ourselves and operate in the moment spontaneously. There is a lot of potential here, but it is very important to be in the moment especially when engaging in potentially dangerous activities like walking across the street or driving a car. The Two Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them.
There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of the exact time of the aspect. Jan 28 – Jan 31 (exact Jan 29) Mars in Capricorn is flowing freely (trine) with Uranus in Taurus. This vibe begins to influence us around 12 PM on Jan. 28 and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 6:41 PM on Jan. 29 then decreasing fading out around 2 AM on Jan. 31.This vibrational energy pattern brings natural flows of impulsivity that just flow up from the subconscious. It is challenging in this energy to keep ourselves really aware of what is happening so that we can take the precautions needed to not have accidents. This is a time when it is very important to be consciously in the moment, aware and participating in whatever you are doing.
Jan 27 – Jan 29 (exact Jan 28) Venus in Capricorn is flowing freely (trine) with Jupiter in Taurus. This vibe increasing in influence until it peaks at 8:02 PM on Jan. 28 then decreasing fading out around 5 PM on Jan. 29. This vibrational energy pattern is seeking to experience rich expressions of beauty, either natural beauty or beautiful paintings or beautiful architecture, or any type of special beauty.
Jan 27 – Jan 29 (exact Jan 28) Mercury in Capricorn is flowing freely (trine) with Uranus in Taurus. This vibe is increasing in influence until it peaks at 4:06 PM on Jan. 28 then decreasing fading out around 9 AM on Jan. 29. This vibrational energy pattern brings quick mental connections and communication in the moment. This is especially equipped to handle unexpected situations that pop up in your life. It is important to truly be in the moment when this pattern is influencing us.
Jan 27 – Jan 28 (exact Jan 28) Venus in Capricorn is sharing freely (sextile) with Saturn in Pisces. This vibe is increasing in influence until it peaks at 1:03 AM on Jan. 28 then decreasing fading out around 10 PM on Jan. 28. This vibrational energy pattern is about working with others to connect into the fundamental beauty that is foundational to your expression of yourself and your sharing with others.
Jan 26 – Jan 28 (exact Jan 27) the Sun in Aquarius is acting and agitating (square) with Jupiter in Taurus. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 5 AM on Jan. 28. This vibrational energy pattern is about expanding and growing each day and taking action based on these new or expanded understandings.
Jan 25 – Jan 28 (exact Jan 27) Mercury in Capricorn is joining with Mars in Capricorn. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 10 PM on Jan. 28. This vibrational energy pattern strongly energizes the mind. There is a need to learn more about areas you are interested in and to apply that knowledge in your life.
Jupiter moves back into a light sextile with Saturn at the end of its retrograde period, between Jan 24, 2024 and Feb 18, 2024 but this aspect never becomes exact.
This vibrational pattern gives some potential for balanced growth, but since the aspect never becomes exact it is a potential people can choose to use if they wish.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 12:20 AM, peaking at 2:20 AM, the Moon in Virgo is opposing Saturn in Pisces. In this 4 hr period you are dealing with that which is especially significant or fundamental in your relationships with others. This is especially about evaluating whether your interactions are working to build your life in a way that supports and leads to your long-term goals. You can see clearly now what you need to change to accomplish your goals.
Starting at 12:28 AM, peaking at 2:28 AM, the Moon in Virgo is flowing freely (trine) with Venus in Capricorn. This 4 hr period brings a very nice flow of love and good feelings. This can be a special time to share with those you care about.
Starting at 2:10 AM, peaking at 4:10 AM, the Moon in Virgo is flowing freely (trine) with Jupiter in Taurus. In this 4 hr period there is a sense of emotional openness and expansion within you. This can feel either good or bad depending on what your general feeling at the time is but it will tend to be optimistic.

On January 25 the Full Moon occurred with the Moon in Leo and the Sun in Aquarius. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 9, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern brings a sense of connection you’re your mission and purpose in life. There is also a need to focus your feelings into growth and expansion. The importance of interacting with others in natural harmonious patterns is emphasized. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Performer of a Mystery Play”. This is an opportunity to realize that you are a part of the mystery, the spiritual drama of life, humbly understanding that this life’s experiences are just the part that was assigned for you to do. Claiming special privilege and prestige because of the special awareness and talents that you have developed can get you out of balance with yourself and others. The symbol for the Moon is “An old-fashioned Woman and an up-to-date Girl. This calls you to balance tried and true patterns with new, innovative patterns, looking for the most effective and wisest course of action.
On January 11, the New Moon occurred with the Moon and Sun in Capricorn. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 9, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern is quite compelling. There are deep emotional patterns that may surface at this time and influence our behavior. It is likely that we will tend to think very quickly and impulsively express our thoughts without regard to how those thoughts will impact others. Our communities, the groups we are associated with are feeling very important at this time and we may find creative ways to support our communities. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Relay Race”. This is about learning to work with others with each of us doing their part as you strive to reach a common goal.
On December 21 the Winter Solstice occurred as the Sun entered Capricorn. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the Spring Equinox on March 19. This is the shortest day of the year. After the Winter Solstice the days start getting longer and by the Spring Equinox the temperature starts to catch up with the lengthening days. The Solstice brings a flow of unfolding energy that contains the potential for a rebirth in our understanding of both the past and the present. There is a sense of being called to walk in harmony with the people and the world around us as we tune into what is really fundamental and foundational. The Vibration between the Sun and the Moon gives us the Sabian Symbol of “A Case of Apoplexy”. Apoplexy is an old name for something like a stroke where you are temporarily unconscious from an overload in your system. This speaks to very contradictory feelings wanting to express but feeling anxious and fearing disapproval. This is about facing that which is within you that may be inhibiting your ability to truly express what you are. You are meant to shine as a reflection of the one light connecting into something beyond yourself.
On October 28 the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio. This vibrational energy pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse on Mar 25, 2024. This vibrational energy brings a deep desire to expand your emotional connections and to learn new and different things. There is an underlying whisper of dreams of beauty and exotic experiences. There may be some tendency to project your dreams into the world and not know what is real and what is not. There is a strong need to participate in a new and different worldview that will at least give the hope of involvement in a creative community. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Gold Rush” which can represent you going out into the rugged dangerous depths of yourself and seeking to break up the rigid structures within you that are keeping you from connecting into the gold of your true self. The Moon Symbols is “A Bridge being built across a Gorge”. Here is the opportunity to build a bridge that will cross the abyss and connect you to the next level of awareness. This is not something we can do by ourselves, but if you ask for help from spirit, you will receive it.
On October 14, 2023 the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Sun and Moon in Libra. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. This vibrational energy is particularly oriented towards involvement in creative groups. There is a desire to explore without an agenda and see what wonders you can find. This involves a passion for learning and applying what you have learned. There is a desire to expand emotionally at a pace you can handle effectively. There is also a need to go out and act and express yourself, make your life happen. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “A Child giving Birds a Drink at a Fountain”. This is about drawing from the fountain of spiritual nourishment, replenishing yourself and generously sharing with those around you who are not able to obtain it for themselves.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Jupiter >> Introductory Period for Pluto: Turning Forward of Uranus, Neptune: Resolution of Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards.
These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period. These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago.
