At 12:12 PM EDT on October 18, the First Quarter Moon Phase is reached with the Moon in Capricorn and the Sun in Libra.
Today, Sunday (10/18/2026), the strongest vibrational influence comes from Mercury and Venus joining with Saturn (0*). There is no vibrational energy that is strong enough to organize todays energy but the strongest energy pole available is the featured pattern Mercury, Venus, Saturn. This energy is focused on situations you encounter where you must respond to the situation before you can predict the outcome. You need to collect as much information as you can and then use your information to feed your intuition. This energy is operating analytically seeking to figure out what is most foundational and you may well find yourself reading or writing something that is helps you figure out what you need to do. This energy begins to influence us around 9 AM on Oct 18 and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 2:56 AM on Oct 20 then it is decreasing fading out around 7 PM on Oct 21. This vibrational energy pattern has you taking action regarding an attraction to beauty that is so intense it hurts. You feel compelled to be involved with your current focus of beauty. Make no life changing decisions based on this attraction until after it passes and you see if the attraction continues after the aspect leaves.
Jun 11 – Oct 30 (exact Jul 25 and Sep 15) Neptune in Aries is sharing freely (sextile) with Pluto in Aquarius. This energy is increasing in influence until it peaks at 1:26 AM on Jul 25 and at Sept 15 both during the retrograde finally fading out around 3 AM on Oct 30 This vibrational energy pattern brings a potential for shared passion and purpose. This 4 hr period brings a focus on thinking and communicating those thoughts, so writing down your thoughts, and possibly communicating what you are thinking about in a discussion or just sitting and thinking for a while would be profitable. This has the emotions and the mind interacting well and is a good time to work on important projects.

This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the Full Moon on October 26, 2026. This vibrational pattern challenges you to recognize your fundamental responsibilities are and learn how to operate based on them. This is a time when it will be difficult to figure out what you need to do and you need to analyze what is happening then use your intuition to figure out what type of action you need to take You will likely need to move beyond your current community boundaries and venture into new territory. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “An eagle and a large white dove turning one into the other” which is about you learning to balance power and love using each to temper the other, developing a deeply grounded connection to others as well as within yourself, opening to both the emotional and spiritual realms. You will misuse this energy if you are reacting inconsistently and unpredictably, pushing others away from you and finding yourself out of control as you fluctuate between power and love. This vibrational pattern brings changes in your compulsive need to achieve your goals as you reach a change in your understanding of what has been happening around you. You may see more clearly what the essence is that has been hidden from you. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “Two Men placed under arrest” is about you stopping operation as usual where you realize that both your ego and your subconscious have been operating in ways that are harmful to other people and to yourself. You are challenged to face any ways in which you have been refusing to respect the rights of others and rebelling against personal and societal expectation and controls.
On September 22, the Fall Equinox occurred as the Sun entered Libra. This Energy will be influencing us until the Winter Solstice on December 21, 2026. This vibrational pattern brings the potential for a rebirth of vision, hope and dreams as we reconnect to the concepts that are important to us. This calls us to first turn inward and connect more strongly with the true essence of who we are and then to work with those around us on removing the blocks and barriers to truly forming an affirming supportive community. The Sabian Symbol for the Fall Equinox is “Sunshine just after a storm” which encourages us to recognize that there is hope beyond the storm that we are facing at present. We need to learn to embrace the present moment and respond to it whatever it demands.
On August 28, the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on February 20, 2027. This Vibrational Energy carries a strong drive to take action expressing your emotional feelings. You are seeking to communicate beautifully and effectively in the moment expressing spontaneous feelings. On a deeper level you may feel the call to probe deep inside of yourself and see if you can make a connection with something that reaches beyond your personal levels of experience. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A man dreaming of fairies”. This points to learning to see the invisible and effectively penetrating into deeper and more mysterious levels of yourself and of what is around you through your imagination; reintegrating with the rejected aspects of yourself and your world. The Symbol for the Moon is “A church bazaar” which encourages you to release your customary restraints and preoccupations and gather together the many bits and pieces of yourself to form an organized structure that can operate temporarily for the benefit of others.
On August 12, the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Moon and Sun in Leo. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon Solar Eclipse on February 6, 2027. This vibrational energy is focused on communication of deep purpose and awareness in your own unique way. This is about moving beyond the boundaries of common society seeking something better while creatively expressing your unique vision. There is an indication here of the possible restructuring of society with new boundaries. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “Chickens Intoxicated” which is about making mistakes due to lack of experience or preparation and learning from this to step back and go more slowly; getting the proper training. There is a danger here of seeking stimulation from that which you don’t know how to handle, being thrown for a loop, staggering around as if you were drunk on the energy you have received.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Mercury, Venus >> Introductory Phase of Mercury, Jupiter: Turning Backward of Uranus: Reworking of Venus, Saturn, Neptune: Turning Forward of Pluto {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area.
