This Vibrational Pattern is operating deep within you and encourages you to spend some time by yourself to feel out your world and become aware of how you are operating in relation to the world. Are you in touch with who you really are and are you finding ways to express who you genuinely are in your interactions in the world? {When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them. There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of couple of hours either side of the time given. Jan 27 – Jan 30 (exact Jan 28) Mercury in Capricorn is joining with Pluto in Capricorn. This vibe begins to influence us around 10 PM and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 11:16 PM on Jan 28 then decreasing fading out around 6 AM on Jan 30. This vibration is about intense thought patterns perhaps tied to deeply buried internal patterns. There is a lot of ability to focus on some area of particular interest and get totally absorbed in it. If you use this energy to focus on the things you especially need to accomplish, it can be very beneficial
Jan 23 – Feb 4 (Closest Jan 28) Venus in Capricorn is flowing freely with Uranus in Taurus. This vibe does not become exact because Venus changes directions. This is about sudden feelings of attraction to beauty and the desire to pursue them. These attractions can be very powerful. Be aware that as Venus leaves the influence of Uranus these attractions will stop being compelling and may be regretted or not make sense to you. The feelings can be amazing, but take care to not make any commitments until after Venus and Uranus have separated and you find out if this has long term potential.
The Moods of the Moon.
{Remember that the quicker Moon patterns impact our moods and feelings for a short window of time around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 10:28 PM yesterday, peaking at 12:28 AM early January 27, the Moon in Scorpio is sharing freely (sextile) with Mercury in Capricorn. This 4 hr period brings feelings and mental processes into harmonious relationship. This is a good time to work on long term projects.
At 2:34 AM, the Moon enters Sagittarius. The Moon in Sagittarius brings exuberant feelings and a desire to explore your external world and your internal world. This 2 ½ days is a great time to explore someplace you have never been or to learn something new that you have been wondering about.
Starting at 11:02 AM, peaking at 1:02 PM, the Moon in Sagittarius is acting and agitating (square) with Jupiter in Pisces. This 4 hr period is expansive and optimistic. This is a good time to interact socially with others.
Starting at 1:47 PM, peaking at 3:47 PM, the Moon in Sagittarius is sharing freely (sextile) with the Sun in Aquarius. This 4 hr period is a good time for sharing with others in small groups, perhaps discussions of items important to all of you.
The Cyclic Patterns Diary

At 8:41 AM EST, the Third Quarter Moon occurs with the Moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Aquarius. This pattern will be influencing us until the New Moon on February 1. This vibrational pattern is especially focused on community ties and interactions between people in community. There is important communication this week as people seek to operate in accord with their personal sense of mission and purpose. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Performer of a Mystery Play”. This calls for a recognition that we are each a part of the mystery, the spiritual drama of life, and we are called to embrace and celebrate that mystery. Distortion of this process can result in deceit and manipulation where one covers up their true motives and perhaps tries to force their world view on others. The Moon Symbol is “A Gold Rush” which calls each of us to face the depths of our beings treading into the dangers within ourselves, seeking to find the buried spiritual awareness that will guide us to truly express our highest selves.
On January 17 the Full Moon occurred with the Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Capricorn. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 1. This vibrational pattern indicates that there is a pattern operating that is greatly disrupting the normal course of our lives. It involves moving more in line with the long term unfolding of life and removing current ways of behaving that do not align with the flow of life unfolding. Opening up to sensing the mystery that underlies our lives can help you tune into this better and be able to act in alignment with it bringing a passion for the underlying beauty of the mystery that enables life to occur. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Large Aviary” which calls us to enter more profound levels of spiritual awareness and be able to sort through the noise around us to recognize the true spiritual messages that are always there for us if we just recognize them. The Moon Symbol is “A Modern Pocahontas”. This calls us to open up to the connections between ancient cultural wisdom and modern exploration of new frontiers; intuitively embracing awarenesses and forces of life beyond the comprehension of the limited awareness of the rational mind and ego. On January 2, the New Moon occurred with the Sun and Moon in Capricorn. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 1. This Vibrational Pattern has strong involvement from Uranus bringing a natural flow of impulsivity and spontaneity. There is a sense of the unique contribution that each person makes in the way they live their life and a desire to encourage them to truly be who they are. The message of this new moon would be to Reach for your dreams and open up to expressing them in your life. Let them color everything you do. The Sabian Symbol for both the Sun and Moon is “A Fire Worshiper” which calls on each of us to humbly recognize our ties to that divine essence which is at the heart of all things. This can open us to experiencing an exaltation and consummation which far transcends ambition. There is a warning about the potential of obsessing about yourself and perhaps overestimating you personal powers and abilities.
On December 21, the Winter Solstice occurred with the Sun entering Capricorn and the Moon in Cancer. This Vibrational Pattern is about the importance and the beauty of old patterns and a very strong attraction to this. This is combined with a sense of the importance of the unique way each person can make contributions to life by connecting in with and expressing the unique essence within them. There is encouragement here to spend time inside yourself connecting into who you are in your core and to work on how that fits into the world around you. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun to Moon interaction is “Two Angels bringing Protection”. This encourages you to open up to the protection of the divine that is being offered to both your conscious and unconscious selves. Be open to people appearing to help just when you need them.
On December 4, a New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius. This is the final event of this eclipse season. It will be influencing us at least until the start of the next Eclipse Season on April 30, 2022. There is a special emphasis in this Eclipse on evaluating the patterns we are living by. It is especially important to consider the strengths and weaknesses of the ways that we have been understanding the world. There is a restlessness and a need to move out and find a different world that will work more effectively and be more satisfactory. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “A Widow’s Past brought to Light”. This is about facing your past actions, the destructiveness, and blindness that you have been involved in and taking responsibility for them. The emphasis is on working on the distorted patterns within you, making amends, and forgiving yourself and others so that you can make a new beginning.
On November 19, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Taurus opposing the Sun in Scorpio. This is the start of this eclipse season and this vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the next Eclipse Season starts on April 30, 2022. This Vibrational Pattern involves the Sun and Moon especially strongly interacting with Mercury. This shows that emotional patterns and history will be very important during this next 5 months. There is a focus on creating programs, concepts that are acceptable to everybody involved. There is also an awareness of the needs of people and how they are or are not being met. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “The King of the Fairies approaching his Domain” which points to the importance of understanding your true essence, the domain within the core of your being where you’re truly and confidently in command of yourself. If you are not in touch with the core of your being you may try to use control to prove your superiority. The Moon Symbol is “A Woman pursued by Mature Romance”. This is about participating in a mature type of love that involves a greater awareness of your interconnectivity to others. There is a warning to not closing down to love because you are being guided by social expectations of what love means and what types of love are permissible.
The Retrograde Diary: CHANGES TODAY: Mercury
Reworking of Mercury: Turning Forward of Venus, Uranus: Resolution of Neptune, Pluto
{During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period.
