The Vibrational Astrology Diary
by Linda Berry*

Yesterday and today, Thursday (1/7/21) the strongest vibrational influence comes from Mercury joining with Jupiter and Saturn (1*).  This vibration is able to see the big picture and also to analyze it in detail. The mind is guiding everything here and today brings reinforcement for your individual ability to step back and get an overview of the whole field of operations. This is combined with strong analytical ability that enables you to evaluate the broad picture that you are observing, get into the details and figure out what is working well and what’s not. Combining these two skills enables you to grow and expand in interaction with others while being able to know just how far you can expand right now while still remaining functional and effective.  This is adaptation at the fastest pace you can move inside you and adjust to the changes you are making within yourself.

The Sabian Symbols of our Featured Planets: Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn
The uplifting message from the featured planet positions that shows the way through: You are studying the shells remaining of ancient spiritual truths, making a deeper connection to the stability underlying reality as you open up to varying perspectives on the truth. You are discovering that the organized structures for dealing with life are too narrow and inadequate, finding that you must operate based on the awareness and sense of connection within you, refusing to be subject to outside authorities, accepting the consequences of your actions.  You are recognizing that you’re a part of the mystery, the spiritual drama of life, embracing and celebrating that mystery. The most dysfunctional expression of this message: You are dogmatically pushing your beliefs on others, believing that you know the one and only true way, seeking to force other people to follow your beliefs. You are rebelliously rejecting social structures and their expectations out of immaturity while ignoring the consequences of your actions, causing damage to yourself and all those around you.  You are going through the motions, following traditional paths without really knowing why or using lies, deceit and manipulation to cover up your true motives or to force your world view on others.

The Dancing Two-Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses.  Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them.  There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of couple of hours either side of the time given.  The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed first, followed by the Moods of the Moon}

Jan 7 – Jan 9 (exact Jan 8) the Sun in Capricorn is sharing freely (sextile) with Neptune in Pisces. This vibe begins to influence us around 12 PM and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 11:53 AM on January 8 then decreasing fading out around 12 PM on January 9. This vibration is tuned into your dreams and visions and how you can make them part of your daily life. This vibe is more focused on what you like to imagine your life could be like than on what you are actually dealing with in the here and now. Comparing the two will give you ideas about how to make your current life more like your desired life.

The Moods of the Moon
{Remember that the quick Moon patterns impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of their peak time.}

Starting at 10:21 PM yesterday, peaking at 12:21 AM early this morning, the Moon in Libra is acting and agitating (square) with Mercury in Capricorn. This 4 hr period is about integrating the feelings and the mental reasoning so that you can take action using both capabilities
Starting at 10:54 PM yesterday, peaking at 12:54 AM early this morning, the Moon in Libra is sharing freely (sextile) with Venus in Sagittarius. This 4 hr period brings a sense of attuning to those around you on a deep soul level. This is a good time to spend with those closest to you.

At 3:53 AM the Moon enters Scorpio For the next 2 ½ days the Moon in Scorpio can tend to get very emotionally intense.  The desire is to merge with the people you are involved with and with the projects you are working on.  This can be uncomfortable for those not used to it as you can feel like you are being swallowed up.  If it gets too much, just step back for a couple of minutes and take a breath, or even take a walk around the block to help you temporarily disconnect.

Starting at 2:14 AM, peaking at 4:14 AM, the Moon in Scorpio is opposing Mars in Taurus. This 4 hr period is very active and especially focused on acting either with or against others.  This energy can get violent if it is frustrated and thwarted.  You can choose to deliberately use this energy for constructive activities like exercise, sports and physical projects.
Starting at 5:54 AM, peaking at 7:54 AM, the Moon in Scorpio is acting and agitating (square) with Saturn in Aquarius. This 4 hr period is very concerned about the long term consequences of our actions and it seeks to eliminate actions that are not of long-term consequences.

Starting at 9:11 AM, peaking at 11:11 AM, the Moon in Scorpio is acting and agitating (square) with Jupiter in Aquarius. This 4 hr period is expansive, optimistic and social.  There is a desire to have new experiences that expand your understanding of other people and the world.
Starting at 1:15 PM, peaking at 3:15 PM, the Moon in Scorpio is opposing Uranus in Taurus. This 4 hr period is focused on doing what it wants to when it wants to. There is a tendency to deny or fight against the expectations of others.  Take care to look around you for a second before you move out as this aspect sometimes results in accidents.

The Cyclic Patterns Diary
{These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}

On January 6, the Third Quarter Moon was exact with the Moon in Libra acting and agitating (square) the Sun in Capricorn. This vibrational pattern is about recognizing that each of us has a special essence deep within us with unique valuable gifts that deserve to be respected. The lack of expression of this awareness brings dissatisfaction and a desire for change. The call is to learn to relates in a balanced way that brings action from inertia and yet softens the more aggressive forms of expression. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Girl surreptitiously bathing in the Nude” which calls us to free ourselves from the control of others and open to a sense of greater contact with the natural world around us. The Moon Symbol is “A retired Sea Captain” showing us that we can calm our emotions down and be more aware of the ebb and flow of life as we experience a sense of pattern in our lives and see how and when we have felt fulfilled. The call here is to tuned into a natural sense of the unfolding of life that we are all participating in.

On December 29,  the Full Moon occurred with the Moon in Cancer is opposing the Sun in Capricorn. This Vibration will be influencing us until the next New Moon on January 13, 2021. This pattern is focused within the mind dealing especially with obsessive thought patterns that will be brought to light by this Full Moon. There is the opportunity here for getting awareness of obsessive patterns that are not serving you that you would like to change. The energy is working deep within your mind and helps you to evaluate whether you are accomplishing the things you want to accomplish or being blocked from success by internal obsessions. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “An Angel carrying a Harp” which involves opening yourself to the music and harmony of the divine welcoming support and assistance. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Tiny Nude Miss reaching in the Water for a Fish”. This symbol is about innocently grasping for that which is elusive, operating out of a place that transcends normal social mores and moves with innocence into new and different waters. This is about how you deal with that which seems unattainable, do you extend yourself and redefine things or do you give up.

On December 21 the First Quarter Moon occurred with the Sun in Capricorn and the Moon in Aries. This Vibration will be influencing us until the Full Moon on December 29. This vibration caps off the trio of significant astronomical events today. The vibration here is about the things we really must do. This vibration shows us growing emotionally evaluating our current patterns and keeping the things that serve our long term goals and letting go of things that don’t. This is combined with a deep need to honor and treasure the earth and the beauty of this world we live in and work to support and enhance that beauty.

On December 21 the Winter Solstice occurred as the Sun enters Capricorn. This sets the pattern for the next three months. And with the Jupiter Saturn conjunction today this sets the patterns for the next 20 years. There is a potential here for a new pattern to form that brings a sense of hope that we haven’t felt in a while. This involves facing the ways we act out of the darkness within us in confusion and pain and letting a new sense of light come in to clear out the pain and bring new life.  The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at every Winter Solstice is “An Indian Chief demanding Recognition” which points to the importance of each of us connecting in with a sense of inner security that brings us into our inner authority which lets us listen comfortably to others and give way when appropriate. This is combined with the Moon Symbol “An Inhabited Island” which helps us to connect deeply into ourselves this winter and recognize our own boundaries as we learn to balance our needs against the needs of those around us.

On December 14 a New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with both the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius. This eclipse will be influencing us until the start of the next Eclipse Season on May 26, 2021. This eclipse brings a strong focus on the mind and thinking clearly and communicating with others. But this is not just about sitting around and feeling and thinking. There is a push here to take action driven by a feeling of dissatisfaction with what is happening. The Sabian Symbol for this eclipse is “A Bluebird standing at the Door of the House” which is about recognizing your worth even if you are in a strange place, affirming and accepting the blessing and happiness being offered. There is a temptation to always be looking somewhere else for something that is better which can lead to you failing to see the blessings and happiness right at your door.

On November 30, there was a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse with the Moon in Gemini and the Sun in Sagittarius. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the New Moon Solar Eclipse on December 14. We are now in the Eclipse Season when everything gets reorganized. This vibration brings an awareness of the importance of being true to ourselves and that our true self is tuned into a greater reality of which we are a part, something greater than ourselves that we participate in. This is a call to open up to that greater reality, become one with it and be transformed by this experience. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Mother with her Children on Stairs” which reminds us that we are being guided with love and care through progressive levels of awareness and growth and this requires that we be open to help from others but that we recognize that we are each responsible for growing up and looking after ourselves rather than expecting to be taken care of. The Moon Symbol is “A Quiver filled with Arrows”. This reminds of the importance of recognizing the pain we carry within us and accepting that pain, then addressing it and working on healing it.

The Retrograde Diary: NO DEGREE CHANGES TODAY
Introductory contact for Pluto, Turning Forward Uranus, Neptune: Resolution of Pluto
{During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards.  These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period.  These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago.  If an entry resonates with you, then claim it, if not, release it, it was for someone else.  I would very much like your feedback on this.
