Today, Tuesday (1/7/2025), the strongest vibrational influence comes from Mercury and Venus joining with Jupiter (1*). With this vibrational energy pattern, you are restless and dissatisfied, reaching out further and further, seeking something more satisfying. You may go out on your own or join with some other people who are also dissatisfied to seek new answers together. You are moving out beyond the normal social barriers. This is a time when you can communicate especially effectively about your concerns. You may even want to read or write some poetry. You can expand through literature either writing or reading at this time. (For VA Students: 11, 22)
This vibrational energy pattern is better and more effectively implemented by being flexible and adaptable. This is a time when being open to changes that would bring radical shifts is what would be most effective, along with using universal patterns as the guide to what you are trying to accomplish and recognizing that there are things that are connected that do not seem to be.

The Two Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them.
There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of a couple of hours either side of the exact time of the aspect. The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed here, followed by a section on the Moods of the Moon}
Jan 5 – Jan 7 (exact Jan 6) Mercury in Sagittarius is acting and agitating (square) with Neptune in Pisces. This energy is decreasing fading out around 2 AM on Jan. 7. This vibrational energy pattern is about a fascination with ideas. You enjoy having new and spontaneous insights into what you see happening around you.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 1:49 PM, peaking at 3:49 PM, the Moon in Aries is flowing freely (trine) with Mercury in Sagittarius. This 4 hr period brings a good interaction between your mind and emotions helping you to both think and feel clearly. This is a good time to be working on important projects.
Starting at 2:16 PM, peaking at 4:16 PM, the Moon in Aries is acting and agitating (square) with Mars in Cancer. In this 4 hr period you may find yourself more prone to be emotionally worked up. Doing something active will use the energy in a constructive way. Take a walk even if it’s just around the block or down the hall, do some squats, run in place, anything that uses the excess energy that is floating around right now.
At 5:11 PM the Moon enters Taurus and for the next 2 ½ days you feel more like you are working with the world around you with everything evolving in its own way. There is a lot more patience here and a sense of life unfolding as it should with a sense that you and everything around you change in the ways that are natural and proper.
Starting at 5:22 PM, peaking at 7:22 PM, the Moon in Taurus is acting and agitating (square) with Pluto in Aquarius. In this 4 hr period you may feel a need to act based on deep feelings within you that may come to the surface at this time. Ask yourself whether you are responding to the past or the present. Try to not put ancient feelings on the people you are currently interacting with.
The Cyclic Patterns Diary {These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}
On January 6, the First Quarter Moon Phase occurred with the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Capricorn. This Vibrational Pattern will be influencing us until the Full Moon on January 13. This vibrational energy is about balancing your internal experience of yourself and life with a need to interact with others in a flowing harmonious way. You are going to be very hands on both developing your personal awareness and seeking to find effective ways to interact with people and find things in common with those around you. You are recognizing the importance of honoring your personal sense of how life works and at the same time relating well with others. The Sabian symbol for the Sun is “A Girl surreptitiously bathing in the nude” which is about you finding a way to remove yourself from the control or power of others and to covertly open yourself to a greater contact with all that is around you honoring your natural instincts. The symbol for the Moon is “Two Prim Spinsters”. This is about turning inward to break free of the bonds of traditional restrictions so that you can open up to the expression of the impulsive side of yourself or focusing on a rigid control of your impulses where you withdraw and find that you are threatened by the exuberant expression of life.
On December 30, the New Moon occurred with the Sun and Moon in Capricorn. This Vibrational Pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on January 29. This vibrational energy is about taking impulsive actions based on what you are attracted to. There is a tendency to operate out of your internal sense of what you need to do to respond in uncertain situations without regard for the ideas of others. At the same time you are likely to be involved with other people and what is happening in their lives. Your response to these situations may well be unique and surprising. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “An Albatross feeding from the Hand”. This is about facing the aspects of yourself that might feel like burdens or curses and becoming aware of the fears that lie below them. You are called to seek to redefine and nurture these disturbed aspects of yourself as you recognize and embrace your common linkage with all creatures. Recognize that sometimes you need to let go of your familiar patterns and reach beyond yourself.
On December 21, the Sun entered Capricorn. This is the Winter Solstice and this pattern will be influencing us until the Spring Equinox on March 20. This vibrational energy includes energies for emotional expansion. There is a focus on internal work and awareness where you evaluate and develop your internal self. The process would be to eliminate superficial energies from within yourself and to work on deepening your internal awareness and connections. The Sabian Symbol for the Winter Solstice is “The Germ grows into Knowledge and Life”. Here you find a germ of potential understanding within you and you work on developing and growing that new awareness, expanding your knowledge and connection with life. There are potential problems if you let your insecurity keep you from opening up to the broader truths in the situation.
On October 2, the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Sun and Moon in Libra. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon Solar Eclipse on March 29, 2025. This vibrational energy pattern shows a strong need for the freedom to express yourself as you feel inside. This involves the development of your own unique pattern of expression being within your culture but free to operate as who you truly are with the awarenesses you have developed. If this is blocked there is likely to be a strong sense of dissatisfaction where you join with others and reach out seeking to find another more satisfactory place. The Sabian Symbol for the Solar Eclipse is “A Professor peering over his Glasses” which encourages you to move beyond your normal mode of perception to perceive a more comprehensive reality where others are viewed kindly, seriously and with respect.. The challenge is to not get caught up in a superior position that distorts your perception and leads to you seeing others as inferior to you where they need to be bossed around for their own good.
On September 17, 2024, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo. This pattern will be influencing us until the next Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on March 14, 2025. This vibrational energy pattern brings a focus on dreams and ideals that last past death. This is about tuning into the long term patterns of unfolding evolving awareness that transcend the resistance of the moment. There is a major focus in this eclipse on evaluation of your motives and drives to be sure you are getting the result you want. There is also a balancing of your individual view of life against what works for everyone else. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Boy with a Censer” which involves learning how to expand your awareness and accept responsibility for both yourself and your interactions with others by modeling yourself after those who are more spiritually experienced and developed. The Moon Symbol is “A New Moon that divides its Influences” which involves learning how to operate effectively in both the spiritual and the earthly realms based on a new vision and finding your unique way to respond to that vision. If you do not realize that everyone is connected you may start feeling alone and isolated.
The Retrograde Diary: NO DEGREE CHANGES TODAY >> Reworking of Mars, Jupiter: Turning Forward of Uranus, Neptune: Resolution of Saturn, Pluto {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards.
