At 10:52 PM EST on January 17, the First Quarter Moon occurs with the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Capricorn.
Yesterday and today, Wednesday (1/17/2024),the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Sun and Venus joining with Mars (1*). Today the Sun,Venus, Mars ahs weakened but it is still the strongest pattern we are feeling. This Vibrational Energy Pattern is internal and contemplative. You are likely to be working inside yourself and connecting the different aspects of yourself together. This may involve revisions of your internal structure and the way you see the world around you. This is about direct involvement in personal internal work. You may be developing a beautiful internal structure in a very active way. There is a sense of a natural flow and evolution of your personal understandings and connections with the world around you. There is a second energy pattern that is just a little weaker, Sun, Mercury, Uranus. Jan 17 – Jan 19 (exact Jan 18) Mercury in Capricorn is sharing freely (sextile) with Saturn in Pisces. This vibe begins to influence us around 7 AM on Jan. 17 and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 3:49 AM on Jan. 18 then decreasing fading out around 1 AM on Jan. 19.This vibrational energy pattern is very analytical. It is seeking to get to the foundation or core of the area, concept or whatever that you are working on. It will dig down in and figure what the essential underlying structure or core is and focus there.
The Moods of the Moon

Starting at 1:22 PM, peaking at 3:22 PM, the Moon in Aries is flowing freely (trine) with Venus in Sagittarius. This 4 hr period brings a very nice flow of love and good feelings. This can be a special time to share with those you care about.

At 10:52 PM EST on January 17, the First Quarter Moon occurs with the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Capricorn. This pattern will be influencing us until the Full Moon on January 25, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern is connected into deep patterns within us that are affecting our behavior. It challenges us to evaluate our motives and drives, especially one’s that are subconscious and see if we are really operating in the ways we would like to operate. Are you accomplishing the things that you want to accomplish in your life? You have to pull up your subconscious patterns and beliefs and see if they are bringing the results you want. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Large Aviary” which recognizes that we are entering into more profound levels of spiritual awareness and being able to recognize spiritual messages in all that is around us. We need to learn to sort out the true messages in the many experiences we are having. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Large Disappointed Audience”. This is about being confronted with the results of your lack of awareness, personal preoccupation and blindness that may have disappointed and hurt others. You can either face your failings and mistakes or you can hold onto your personal perspective and get angry with others for not going along with your agenda and your personal preoccupations.
On January 11, the New Moon occurred with the Moon and Sun in Capricorn. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 9, 2024. This vibrational energy pattern is quite compelling. There are deep emotional patterns that may surface at this time and influence our behavior. It is likely that we will tend to think very quickly and impulsively express our thoughts without regard to how those thoughts will impact others. Our communities, the groups we are associated with are feeling very important at this time and we may find creative ways to support our communities. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Relay Race”. This is about learning to work with others with each of us doing their part as you strive to reach a common goal.
On December 21 the Winter Solstice occurred as the Sun entered Capricorn. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the Spring Equinox on March 19. This is the shortest day of the year. After the Winter Solstice the days start getting longer and by the Spring Equinox the temperature starts to catch up with the lengthening days. The Solstice brings a flow of unfolding energy that contains the potential for a rebirth in our understanding of both the past and the present. There is a sense of being called to walk in harmony with the people and the world around us as we tune into what is really fundamental and foundational. The Vibration between the Sun and the Moon gives us the Sabian Symbol of “A Case of Apoplexy”. Apoplexy is an old name for something like a stroke where you are temporarily unconscious from an overload in your system. This speaks to very contradictory feelings wanting to express but feeling anxious and fearing disapproval. This is about facing that which is within you that may be inhibiting your ability to truly express what you are. You are meant to shine as a reflection of the one light connecting into something beyond yourself.
On October 28 the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Taurus and the Sun in Scorpio. This vibrational energy pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse on Mar 25, 2024. This vibrational energy brings a deep desire to expand your emotional connections and to learn new and different things. There is an underlying whisper of dreams of beauty and exotic experiences. There may be some tendency to project your dreams into the world and not know what is real and what is not. There is a strong need to participate in a new and different worldview that will at least give the hope of involvement in a creative community. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Gold Rush” which can represent you going out into the rugged dangerous depths of yourself and seeking to break up the rigid structures within you that are keeping you from connecting into the gold of your true self. The Moon Symbols is “A Bridge being built across a Gorge”. Here is the opportunity to build a bridge that will cross the abyss and connect you to the next level of awareness. This is not something we can do by ourselves, but if you ask for help from spirit, you will receive it.
On October 14, 2023 the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Sun and Moon in Libra. This vibrational energy will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. This vibrational energy is particularly oriented towards involvement in creative groups. There is a desire to explore without an agenda and see what wonders you can find. This involves a passion for learning and applying what you have learned. There is a desire to expand emotionally at a pace you can handle effectively. There is also a need to go out and act and express yourself, make your life happen. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “A Child giving Birds a Drink at a Fountain”. This is about drawing from the fountain of spiritual nourishment, replenishing yourself and generously sharing with those around you who are not able to obtain it for themselves.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Mercury >> Introductory Period for Pluto: Turning Forward of Uranus, Neptune: Resolution of Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area.
