The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 10:11 PM yesterday, peaking at 12:11 AM early June 24, the Moon in Libra is acting and agitating (square) with Jupiter in Cancer. In this 4 hr period your emotions will tend to expand. If you are feeling good, this can be great. If you are not feeling good, then this can be difficult. See if you can direct your feelings and thoughts to things that are pleasant and positive and you will be rewarded with some really good feelings.
At 2:43 AM the Moon enters Scorpio For the next 2 ½ days the Moon in Scorpio can tend to get very emotionally intense. The desire is to merge with the people you are involved with and with the projects you are working on. This can be uncomfortable for those not used to it as you can feel like you are being swallowed up. If it gets too much, just step back for a couple of minutes and take a breath, or even take a walk around the block to help you temporarily disconnect.
Starting at 6:43 AM, peaking at 8:43 AM, the Moon in Scorpio is flowing freely (trine) with the Sun in Cancer. In this 4 hr period your mood and emotional feelings are likely to be balanced and soft and you are just more likely to feel in harmony with yourself. This is a good time to engage in projects you need to do.
Starting at 10:36 AM, peaking at 12:36 PM, the Moon in Scorpio is acting and agitating (square) with Pluto in Aquarius. In this 4 hr period you may feel a need to act based on deep feelings within you that may come to the surface at this time. Ask yourself whether you are responding to the past or the present. Try to not put ancient feelings on the people you are currently interacting with.

On June 21, the First Quarter Moon Phase was reached with the Moon in Libra and the Sun in Cancer. This Energy will be influencing us until the Full Moon on June 28, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern is especially focused on taking action to bring new dreams and visions to life. There is a recognition that this is a time when risks must be taken without knowing the outcome based on running scenarios of the consequences of both action and a lack of action. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Furled and an Unfurled Flage displayed from a Vessel.” This is about deciding to develop a deeper understanding of who you really are and seeking to find or create a place where you can relax and just be yourself. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Butterfly made Perfect by a Dart through it” This is about realizing that the perfect form you have created is not enough and that you must take into account the world outside of yourself.
On June 21, the Summer Solstice occurred with the Sun entering Cancer and the Moon in Virgo. This Energy will be influencing us until the Fall Equinox on September 22, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings a searching for a new way of experiencing life where there is a more balanced harmonious relationship between people. There is a recognition that you have to take the risk of acting based on your inner sense of what needs to be done without knowing if you will be successful. You project the outcomes of different actions but must then choose what you sense is best for you and those around you. The Sun Moon pattern of the Summer Solstice has the Sabian Symbol “A Woman and two Men on a bit of sunlit land facing south”. This encourages you to be flexible and open, seeing clearly how you can make appropriate choices to act either in the realm of Spirit and the realm of Matter as appropriate. If you are not flexible you may feel that you are being torn apart by the competing needs within you, disconnecting and isolating yourself with a devastating sense of ineptitude and estrangement from everything around you.
On June 14, the New Moon occurred with the Moon and Sun in Gemini. This Energy will be influencing us until the Next New Moon on July 14, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings an intense perhaps compulsive focus on the beauty of your dreams. You are encouraged to open up to alternative possibilities, ways to experience your dreams that you never considered before. There is a sense of restlessly reaching out and seeking something that has been beyond your reach. You are encouraged to make new patterns including concepts that you were previously excluding. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Man trimming Palms” which is about working to guide the tumultuous growth within you in order to develop a beautiful, healthy structure. This means honestly facing what is healthy and what is twisted and distorted within you and in your approach to life. This is the time to clear out the blocked and twisted patterns and encourage the growth of the healthy patterns.
On March 3, the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Moon in Virgo and the Sun in Pisces. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse, on August 28, 2026. There may be a lot of emotional activity connected with this eclipse. There is also the potential for exceptional communication that can be very effective. This pattern shows that there is a potential to act out of your personal concepts without taking other people into account. There are hidden things going on that have the potential to be revealed and cause a big shift in understanding. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Sword in a Museum”. This presents a choice. You can lay aside the use of force to gain your ends and embrace love and peace, both within yourself and in your interactions with others. Or you can hold grudges and be ready to fight others at any sign of opposition. Or you can give up in defeat and feel worthless and useless. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Strong Hand supplanting Political Hysteria”. Here the power of your personality and your spiritual awareness is acting to calm the situation down. Alternatively, you are being too timid and afraid to take action, losing the opportunity to gain control; or using your power and energy to manipulate the reactions of others for your personal gain.
On February 17, the Solar Eclipse (a New Moon) occurred with the Moon and Sun in Aquarius. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse, on August 12, 2026.This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings a sudden unexpected change that surprises everyone. The energy is focused on internal evaluation of the patterns that you are seeing around you with you seeing what changes are needed to reestablish a flow within the social structure. There is the capacity here to take the actions that will bring about that change. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “Butterfly emerging from Chrysalis”. This speaks of emerging from a long period of suspended confinement within a transformative cocoon. You are discovering that you have experienced a complete metamorphosis of your personal self in this time period. The key is to open up to new and different experiences and not hold onto the old limited form.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Pluto >> Introductory Period of Mercury, Saturn, Uranus: Turning Backward of Neptune: Reworking of Pluto {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area.
