The Vibrational Astrology Diary
by Linda Berry*
At 10:57 AM the Full Moon occurs with the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Libra.
Today, Wednesday (10/20/2021), the strongest vibrational influence comes from Venus and Mars joining with Saturn (0*). Today’s vibration is the strongest of several possibilities. It involves seeking to create beauty that will last a long time. This is a matter of working deep within yourself to see the beauty in the world around you. There is a sense that if you go deep enough you will find a foundational beauty that will last. You may find it helpful to work with someone else that you resonate with. Another possible vibration involves getting deeply involved in a different way of thinking and understanding the world and seeing what you can learn from it. There are several options today and none of them stand out strongly. This gives you more space to form your own pattern.

The Sabian Symbols of our Featured Planets: Venus, Mars, Saturn
The uplifting message from the featured planet positions that shows the way through: You are becoming aware of the give and take of life, with you being responsible to act on your own behalf to meet your needs while being open to receiving from others, releasing what you no longer need to meet the needs of others. You are having feelings of fragility, recognizing your differences as your spiritual transformation brings an expanded heart, greater capacity to nurture, and greater sensitivity. You are bringing to birth within yourself a new type of being that no longer is bound by the human dilemmas. The more dysfunctional expression of this message: You are getting caught up in a cycle of dependence where you perceive yourself as powerless and unable to meet your needs, feeling that you must be subservient to those who have what you need. You are getting caught up in being different for the sake of difference, finding yourself lopsided and ineffective, feeling useless and out of place. You are being afraid of new ideas, refusing to believe what is right in front of you, operating out of stereotypes and prejudicial thinking.

Two-Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them. There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of couple of hours either side of the time given. The longer patterns are stronger and so are listed first, followed by the Moods of the Moon}
Oct 20 – Oct 23 (exact Oct 22) Mars in Libra is acting and agitating (square) with Pluto in Capricorn. This vibe begins to influence us around 12 PM and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 12:19 AM on Oct 22 then decreasing fading out around 12 PM on Oct 23. This vibration brings an strong need to achieve the goals you are focused on. There is a lot of intensity here and may be a feeling of obsession or compulsion.
Oct 17 – Oct 20 (exact Oct 18) Mars in Libra is flowing freely (trine) with Jupiter in Aquarius. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 11 AM. This vibration tends to generate big actions that we take especially in our interactions with other people and in the connections we make in the broader society. This is a time when we may step out into the world and make connections that will bring changes our lives in the future.
The Moods of the Moon.
{Remember that the quicker Moon patterns impact our moods and feelings for a short window of time around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 10:58 PM yesterday, peaking at 12:58 AM early October 20, the Moon in Aries is sharing freely (sextile) with Jupiter in Aquarius. This 4 hr period is optimistic and socially oriented. There is an easy flow of energy between you and others that lets you connect into others easily. This is a good time to get together with people in a social setting.
Starting at 12:28 AM, peaking at 2:28 AM, the Moon in Aries is opposing Mars in Libra. This 4 hr period brings very intense interactions with other people. You may find yourself wanting one thing and others wanting other things. Starting at 2:55 AM, peaking at 4:55 AM, the Moon in Aries is acting and agitating (square) with Pluto in Capricorn. This 4 hr period involves very intense feelings that may erupt from deep within you. Be prepared to walk away if you sense that this is getting out of control.
At 10:57 AM, the Moon in Aries is opposing the Sun in Libra. This is the Full Moon. See the Cyclic Patterns Diary.
The Cyclic Patterns Diary
{These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}
At 10:57 AM the Full Moon occurs with the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Libra. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on November 4. There is a great deal of energy attached to this Full Moon as Mars is right with the Sun. The strongest vibration brings a need to find new ways of understanding the world, a new viewpoint or structure. There is a sense that there is something more foundational that we need to be putting our energy into in order to be successful in our lives. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Man in the Midst of Brightening Influences” which points to feelings of hope and opening up and feeling more included. However, this must be balanced against the Moon Symbol “A Large Disappointed Audience” which is about an awareness of how people’s lack of awareness and personal preoccupation and blindness has hurt others. This is about engaging in self-evaluation that will enable growth and change.
On October 12, the First Quarter Moon occurred with the Moon in Capricorn and the Sun in Libra. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the Full Moon on October 20. This vibrational pattern has some contradictory impulses in it. On the surface it is strongly energized by Mars which brings a drive to go out and accomplish things. However, on a deeper level there will likely be a tendency to pull back and go deeply inside oneself doing internal processing seeking to figure out how you fit into the world and even, seeking to figure out what kinds of patterns are manifesting at present. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Crowd upon the Beach” which encourages you to celebrate the beauty of all aspects of life and embrace renewal and revitalization on a very basic level. The Moon Symbol is “A Relay Race”. This serves to remind us that we cannot accomplish our goals by ourselves. It encourages us to ally with other people so we can reach a common goal together.
On October 6, the Sun and Moon joined together for the New Moon in Libra. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on November 4. This vibrational pattern is very volatile. It initiates a month of intense action and shift. There is a need here for a way of being in the moment and sensing the cycles that are unfolding. The call is to action and the way through is to move into new patterns of behavior. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Noon Siesta”. This points out the importance of some time taken to evaluate things, to pull away and reflect and refresh yourself so that you can operate more effectively. If you do not pull back some, you are likely going to lose all objectivity and get tangled up and stuck.
The Fall Equinox occurred on September 22 as the Sun entered Libra with the Moon in Aries. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the Winter Solstice on December 21. This vibrational pattern has a strong emphasis on the way the past is affecting us. There is the potential to get a broader understanding of how we are being influenced by the past and the potential for sudden insights and shifts to occur. There is a need to reconcile the past with the present and to face the way we have been being influenced by past patterns. The Sabian Symbol for the Moon is “The Gate to the Garden of Desire” which is about getting up the courage to move into a new state even though you don’t know what dangers and revelations you may have to face. There is a danger in withdrawing that you will never be able to reach your dreams.
On June 10 a New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Sun and Moon in Gemini. This finishes the Eclipse Season and these patterns will be influencing us until the start of the next Eclipse Season on November 19. This Solar Eclipse is especially working on our mental patterns. It brings a focus on the mind and how your dreams and visions of life are being reflected in your experience. It is about exploring the world and interacting with what is around you in playful and creative ways. There is the potential here for discovering new relationships and connections with the people and the environment around you. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun and Moon is “A Cafeteria” which focuses on the abundance of choices available to you in your world and your opportunity to select which of these choices is right for you, which will nourish you and your life. When you know what is right for you then you need to deliberately select it, pay for it and make it a part of your essence. It is important that you only take what you truly need, leaving the rest for others.
On May 26 a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurred with the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Sagittarius. This vibration will be influencing us until the New Moon Solar Eclipse on June 10. This is the start of the Eclipse Season. This vibration is focused on taking action and doing the things that it is essential for you to do to express yourself authentically. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “Drilling for Oil” which refers to you digging down into the ancient strata looking for that which has been formed deep within you. You recognize the pressure that these old structures generate and seek to release the energy that is bound up in these deep patterns. There is a warning not to scatter your energy in superficial pursuits that will let you avoid the deep work that is called for at this time. The Moon Symbol is “A Game of Cricket”. This refers to the process of learning the rules of interfacing with the physical and spiritual realms and following these rules so you can effectively play the game. It cautions against acting arbitrarily, refusing to play by the rules of the game and that if you do you will likely receive harsh reactions and perhaps be rejected by others.
The Retrograde Diary: NO DEGREE CHANGES TODAY.
Reworking of Uranus: Turning Forward of Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto
{During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period. These issues are not from Vibrational Astrology, this is an experiment based on interpretations of the Sabian Symbols that I wrote many years ago. If an entry resonates with you, then claim it, if not, release it, it was for someone else. I would very much like your feedback on this. Points of especially concentrated energy are marked with “!”}
