Today,Friday (1/22/21) the strongest vibrational influence comes from Mars joining with Jupiter and Uranus (2*). This vibration is about sudden expansive actions that you feel you have to do. There is a sense of explosiveness in this vibration and it is so full of action, big unpredictable actions. This is combined with a strong sense of dissatisfaction and restlessness that pushes you to search for a different place to be. This is a difficult vibration, however, it is not as strong as it could be. Be prepared to take a second to check before you act or you are likely to do something unexpected that has consequences that you don’t really want. There is a potential for some amazing actions here if you can stay on the upbeat optimistic side of things. This is combined with Sun, Jupiter, Saturn brings a sense of growth in a step by step manner where you have a chance to adjust to each experience of growth before expanding further.

Jan 22 – Jan 25 (exact Jan 23) the Sun in Aquarius is joining with Saturn in Aquarius. This vibe begins to influence us around 7 PM and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 10:01 PM on January 23 then decreasing fading out around 1 AM on January 25. This vibration is evaluating the long term significance of your current behavior patterns and can bring an awareness of things you would like to change and the support needed to make the changes.
Jan 22 – Jan 24 (exact Jan 23) Venus in Capricorn is sharing freely (sextile) with Neptune in Pisces. This vibe begins to influence us around 7 PM and is increasing in influence until it peaks at 2:49 PM on January 23 then decreasing fading out around 10 AM on January 24. This vibration is focused on beauty as an ideal. This is a romantic vibration and gives an opportunity to share something really special with your significant other.
Jan 19 – Jan 26 (exact Jan 23) Mars in Taurus is acting and agitating (square) with Jupiter in Aquarius. This vibe is increasing in influence until it peaks at 2:49 AM on January 23 then decreasing fading out around 4 PM on January 26. This vibration is acting in big ways, determined to expand and grow. There may be the potential to expand beyond effective boundaries getting so big you become non functional.
Jan 18 – Jan 22 (exact Jan 20) Mars in Taurus is joining with Uranus in Taurus. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 3 PM. This vibration is about spontaneous action, impulsive action in the moment. This is very unpredictable energy that can sometimes be violent. Take especial care on the 20th to avoid aggressive encounters and to not start fights.
Jan 13 – Jan 22 (exact Jan 17) Jupiter in Aquarius is acting and agitating (square) with Uranus in Taurus. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 1 AM on January 22. This vibration is about big sudden actions that are driven by the feelings of the moment, not by any sense of expectations or responsibilities. This can be very light and buoyant and delightful. Thus this can sometimes bring about good social interactions.
The Moods of the Moon

Starting at 10:28 PM yesterday, peaking at 12:28 AM, the Moon in Taurus is flowing freely (trine) with Venus in Capricorn. This 4 hr period connects you into a deep soul energy that you can share with those you are really close to.
Starting at 2:27 AM, peaking at 4:27 AM, the Moon in Taurus is sharing freely (sextile) with Neptune in Pisces. This 4 hr period is about feeling and experiencing your dreams and visions of what your life can be like.
Starting at 6:59 AM, peaking at 8:59 AM, the Moon in Taurus is acting and agitating (square) with Mercury in Aquarius. This 4 hr period is about bringing the mind and emotions into coordination with each other. This can result in very powerful actions.
Starting at 2:28 PM, peaking at 4:28 PM, the Moon in Taurus is flowing freely (trine) with Pluto in Capricorn. This 4 hr period brings the ability to tune into the really deep old patterns within you that may be influencing your current reactions to things and to perhaps heal some of those old patterns.
The Cyclic Patterns Diary

On January 20 the First Quarter Moon occurred with the Sun in Aquarius and the Moon in Taurus. This vibrational pattern will be influencing us until the Full Moon on January 28. This quarter Moon has a lot of volatile energy connected with it which brings a potential for violence. There is however a modulating factor that many many people are seeking and needing peace and love and caring where we all support each other. This brings the potential for things to go either way. Spiritual Inspiring Visionary communication will help to bring this into a more peaceful loving expression. I’m going to list the two Sabian Symbols for this quarter moon in full here.

We are being challenged here to open up to the new awarenesses illuminating our minds and hearts and face ourselves and our internal patterns each of us that need to be faced and transformed in order to move into a more loving world.
On January 13, the New Moon occurred with the Sun and Moon in Capricorn. This energy will be influencing us until the next New Moon on February 11. This vibration is focused in each person in their own evaluation of what is happening in the world around them. Each person is especially prone to act out of their internal sense of reference and ideas about themselves, the world, and life in general. This is a time when people are not open to the ideas of those around them and are unlikely to be influenced by others. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Woman entering a Convent”. This speaks to letting go of your own personal needs in order to be of service to others seeking a deeper, and more effective connection to the universal spirit of life. Take care not to neglect yourself and hide away so others will feel sorry for you.
On December 21 the Winter Solstice occurred as the Sun enters Capricorn. This sets the pattern for the next three months. And with the Jupiter Saturn conjunction today this sets the patterns for the next 20 years. There is a potential here for a new pattern to form that brings a sense of hope that we haven’t felt in a while. This involves facing the ways we act out of the darkness within us in confusion and pain and letting a new sense of light come in to clear out the pain and bring new life. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at every Winter Solstice is “An Indian Chief demanding Recognition” which points to the importance of each of us connecting in with a sense of inner security that brings us into our inner authority which lets us listen comfortably to others and give way when appropriate. This is combined with the Moon Symbol “An Inhabited Island” which helps us to connect deeply into ourselves this winter and recognize our own boundaries as we learn to balance our needs against the needs of those around us.
This current Eclipse season ended on December 14, 2020 and the next eclipse season will begin on May 26, 2021. The current eclipse season will be influencing us until the next one begins. The current eclipse cycle involved a push for action based on feelings of dissatisfaction. This is combined with an awareness of the importance of being true to ourselves and that our true self is tuned into a greater reality of which we are a part, something greater than ourselves that we participate in. This is a call to open up to that greater reality, become one with it and be transformed by this experience.
