Today, Saturday (1/10/2026), the strongest vibrational influence comes from the Sun and Mars joining with Jupiter (16*). This Vibrational Energy Pattern is about you interacting with the world around you, seeing how it fits together and how different parts of it can be combined together in various different ways. Jan 9 – Jan 30 (exact Jan 20) Saturn in Pisces is sharing freely (sextile) with Uranus in Taurus. This energy is increasing in influence until it peaks at 12:18 AM on Jan 20 then it is decreasing fading out around 12:30 AM on Jan 30. This vibrational energy pattern brings a desire to gather with other people who think like you do and to join together in projects of common concern.
Jan 9 – Jan 11 (exact Jan 10) Mars in Capricorn is opposing Jupiter in Cancer. This energy is increasing in influence until it peaks at 9:25 AM on Jan 10 then it is decreasing fading out around 12 PM on Jan 11. Jan 9 – Jan 11 (exact Jan 10) the Sun in Capricorn is opposing Jupiter in Cancer. This energy is increasing in influence until it peaks at 3:42 AM on Jan 10 then it is decreasing fading out around 12:30 AM on Jan 11. This vibrational energy pattern brings a need to expand in your understanding of the world around you and to express that growth and expansion in whatever you encounter.
Jan 8 – Jan 10 (exact Jan 9) Venus in Capricorn is opposing Jupiter in Cancer. This energy is decreasing fading out around 6 AM on Jan 10. This vibrational energy pattern brings feeling of wanting to interact with beautiful places, beautiful art, beauty in whatever form you feel attraction for. There is a need to add to the beauty in the world around you.
Jan 5 – Jan 13 (exact Jan 9) the Sun in Capricorn is joining with Mars in Capricorn. This energy is decreasing fading out around 8 AM on Jan 13. This vibrational energy pattern is focused on taking action to accomplish your goals. There is a tremendous amount of drive in this pattern that you can use as you express yourself.
Jan 2 – Jan 10 (exact Jan 6) the Sun in Capricorn is joining with Venus in Capricorn. This energy is decreasing fading out around 4 PM on Jan 10. This vibrational energy pattern brings a fuller understanding of what you are being attracted to now. You are likely to see clearer and to understand more of what is really going on.
The Moods of the Moon
{The Moon patterns only last a short period of time. They impact our moods and feelings for around 4 hours, 2 hours each side of the exact position.}
Starting at 8:08 AM, peaking at 10:08 AM, the Moon in Libra is acting and agitating (square) with Jupiter in Cancer. In this 4 hr period your emotions will tend to expand. If you are feeling good, this can be great. If you are not feeling good, then this can be difficult. See if you can direct your feelings and thoughts to things that are pleasant and positive and you will be rewarded with some really good feelings.
Starting at 8:11 AM, peaking at 10:11 AM, the Moon in Libra is acting and agitating (square) with Mars in Capricorn. In this 4 hr period you may find yourself more prone to be emotionally worked up. Doing something active will use the energy in a constructive way. Take a walk even if it’s just around the block or down the hall, do some squats, run in place, anything that uses the excess energy that is floating around right now.

This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the New Moon on January 18, 2025. This vibrational energy pattern is about you reaching out and becoming involved with the experiences of the people around you. There is a recognition that there needs to be changes, that there is a better way for people’s lives around you to go and that you need to take big actions that will change what you and those around you are experiencing. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Relay Race” which is about leaning that you need to work with others, each doing their part, in order to reach your common goal and that if you refuse to work with others because of a lack of trust or cooperation you will be defeated. The Symbol for the Moon is “A Crowd upon the Beach”. Here you are challenged to reveal the essence of yourself in all its beauty and distortions. This brings the potential for renewal and revitalization. Not opening up, keeping a distance from others, as you strive to maintain your deceptions will no longer work.
On January 3, the Full Moon occurred with the Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Capricorn. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the New Moon on January 18, 2025. This vibrational energy pattern is about being willing to take the risks needed to express your calling. There is a driving need to develop and share your understandings with the people who are interested. You sense the patterns and what is not working right in them and you are called to act. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “An Ancient Bas-relief carved in granite” which is about opening up to embracing the ancient awarenesses and truths that have been preserved for future generations. You are challenged to use these truths to establish a solid foundation for your life, applying this in a flexible way in the present. You are likely to get stuck if you become rigidly caught up in old patterns and memories which can result in you being unable to move into the present. The Moon Symbol is “A very old Man facing a vast dark space in the Northeast”. This is about recognizing that the light of dawn is coming soon bringing rebirth as it illuminates the darkness. You are challenged to move beyond despair and recognize that the darkness is fertile and full of promise.
On December 21, the Sun enters Capricorn, the Winter Solstice. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us at least until the Spring Equinox on March 20, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings an awareness of natural beauty and a drive to contribute to it. This can be expressed either through deception and betrayal or by attuning to the highest spiritual awarenesses and transcending distorted ego patterns. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun to Moon relationship at the Solstice is “A Sword in a Museum” which speaks to laying aside the use of force to gain your ends and embracing love and peace both within yourself and in your interactions with others. If you refuse to do this you are likely to get caught in a pattern where you are holding grudges and being ready to fight others at any sign of opposition or possibly giving up in defeat and feeling worthless and useless.
On December 19, the New Moon occurred with the Moon and Sun in Sagittarius. This Vibrational Energy Pattern will be influencing us until the New Moon on January 18, 2025. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings the dissolving of old patterns and structure and the emerging of new patterns. There is a sense of reaching out to connect in with a new level spiritual awareness. This is combined with a need to be more appropriately responsive to the patterns happening spontaneously in the moment. This is driven by a sense of dissatisfaction that senses the need to make changes in the structure of the community you live in. The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is “A Fat Boy mowing the Lawn” which speaks to the need to cleanse and recondition yourself through hard work that cuts through the ragged overgrown expanses within you to reveal a formalized beauty that show something true and fundamental in the depths of your being. You are recognizing the importance of not getting caught up in superficial appearances.
On September 21, the New Moon Solar Eclipse occurred with the Moon and Sun in Virgo. This Vibrational Pattern will be influencing us until the next Solar Eclipse on February 17, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern brings an evaluation of emotional patterns and responses seeking to separate deception and betrayal from the seeking of deep spiritual truth. If you listen clearly in your heart you will know which is which. This is a time for you to focus inside yourself and explore the deeper aspects inside seeking to get past any barriers that keep you from connecting into your unique self and your gifts. You are encouraged to project the current patterns into the future and see what will bring the best results for everybody involved. The Sabian Symbol for the Eclipse is “A False Call unheard in attention to immediate service”.This is about the importance of totally focusing on the immediate project or development in which you’re engaged, ignoring all distractions, operating from a state of personal completion and fulfillment. There is danger in you being pulled away from critical tasks, responding to outside interruptions and losing your sense of yourself and your ability to pursue the opportunities available to you.
On September 7, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurs with Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo. This Vibrational Pattern will be influencing us until the next Lunar Eclipse on March 3, 2026. This Vibrational Energy Pattern encourages us to see beyond our emotional reactions to the truth of this moment showing that we must learn to embrace that which we have previously excluded. We are challenged to adjust our visions of the future to see more clearly the possibilities for sudden insights into the deep archaic patterns that are holding us back from realizing our dreams. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “An Orangutan” which involves sensing powerful primitive distortions deep within you and recognizing the need to refine and guide those forces into more mature expression. It is dangerous in this energy pattern to take for granted your right to do whatever you feel like in life without considering its effect on other people. The Symbol for the Moon is “The Flow of Inspiration” which brings the potential for you to connect into the flow of spiritual inspiration moving through you and out into the world, If you close up and get caught in a cycle of negativity you will find your perceptions limited which will shut you off from others.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Jupiter >> Reworking of Jupiter: Turning Forward of Uranus, Neptune: Resolution of Saturn, Pluto. {During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards. These issues are addressed again to be reworked on during the retrograde period [in brackets] then a new understanding of these issues occurs during the post retrograde period.
