Today, Sunday (2/21/21), the strongest vibrational influence comes from Mercury joining with Jupiter and Saturn (1*). This vibration is able to see the big picture and also to analyze it in detail. The mind is guiding everything here and today brings reinforcement for your individual ability to step back and get an overview of the whole field of operations. This is combined with strong analytical ability that enables you to evaluate the broad picture that you are observing, get into the details and figure out what is working well and what’s not. Combining these two skills enables you to grow and expand in interaction with others while being able to know just how far you can expand right now while still remaining functional and effective. This is adaptation at the fastest pace you can move inside you and adjust to the changes you are making within yourself.

The Dancing Two-Planet Diary
{When 2 planets interact it influences the way we want to express ourselves, our attitudes, moods, and impulses. Becoming aware of these vibrations helps us to guide these aspects of ourselves with awareness rather than being controlled by them. There are longer patterns which tend to have more impact because we feel them for several days in a row and there are quick Moon patterns that impact our moods and feelings for a window of couple of hours either side of the time given. Feb 18 – Feb 21 (exact Feb 19) Venus in Aquarius is acting and agitating (square) with Mars in Taurus. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 5 AM. This vibration is about making beautiful things, often with crafts like knitting, crochet or macramé. There is a sense of the beauty of the natural things in the world and the desire to interact with this world and add to the beauty in it. This can include romantic feelings that you express as appropriate.
Feb 6 – Mar 2 (exact Feb 17) Saturn in Aquarius is acting and agitating (square) with Uranus in Taurus. This vibe is decreasing fading out around 4 PM on March 2. This vibration brings a conflict between taking responsible long-term actions and doing whatever you feel like in the moment. There is a challenge here to learn how to spontaneously tune into the long-term patterns in this moment and spontaneously express that awareness.
The Moods of the Moon

Starting at 1:10 AM, peaking at 3:10 AM, the Moon in Gemini is acting and agitating (square) with Neptune in Pisces. This 4 hr period brings feelings about your dreams and and a desire to act to make your dreams come true.
Starting at 11:39 AM, peaking at 1:39 PM, the Moon in Gemini is flowing freely (trine) with Venus in Aquarius. This 4 hr period is a time to make soul connections and to be with those you feel especially close to.
At 10:53 PM the Moon enters Cancer, staying for 2 ½ days and shifting your emotional focus to close interactions with those that you consider to be family and to expanding your family group. You want to have harmonious interactions with those you love
The Cyclic Patterns Diary
{These are patterns that continue over an extended period of time and you may find that rereading this periodically will help you effectively handle what we are all experiencing as our “astral weather” in this time period.}
On February 19 the First Quarter Moon occurred with the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Gemini. This vibration will be influencing us for the next week until the Full Moon on February 27. This vibe takes us deep within ourselves where we can tune into the more unconscious levels of our psyches. There is a call here to “Know Thyself”. There is the opportunity this week to grow in our awareness of some of the emotional patterns of fear and competition that have been blocking us and let them go. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A Squirrel hiding from Hunters” which is about awareness of the difficult patterns within you and working on developing the strength and support system you need to face and resolve these patterns. The Moon Symbol is “Santa Claus filling Stockings furtively”. This is about opening yourself up to receive the gifts and awarenesses that spirit is bringing to you understanding that they may be in a disguised or symbolic form where you have to translate what you are receiving to understand it.
On February 11 the New Moon occurred with the Sun and Moon in Aquarius. This pattern will be influencing us until the next New Moon on March 13. There is a tremendous amount of sensitivity in this vibrational pattern, a tendency to be concerned about other people’s stories and to respond to them. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is “A man turning his back on his passions and teaching from his experience.” This is about letting go of inappropriate attachments and teaching others how to do this. There is a warning about rejecting and burying your emotional experiences, having a barrier established inside you that blocks your feelings and makes you insensitive and focused on rational behavior at all costs.
On December 21 the Winter Solstice occurred as the Sun enters Capricorn. This sets the pattern for the next three months. And with the Jupiter Saturn conjunction today this sets the patterns for the next 20 years. There is a potential here for a new pattern to form that brings a sense of hope that we haven’t felt in a while. This involves facing the ways we act out of the darkness within us in confusion and pain and letting a new sense of light come in to clear out the pain and bring new life. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at every Winter Solstice is “An Indian Chief demanding Recognition” which points to the importance of each of us connecting in with a sense of inner security that brings us into our inner authority which lets us listen comfortably to others and give way when appropriate. This is combined with the Moon Symbol “An Inhabited Island” which helps us to connect deeply into ourselves this winter and recognize our own boundaries as we learn to balance our needs against the needs of those around us.
This current Eclipse season ended on December 14, 2020 and the next eclipse season will begin on May 26, 2021. The current eclipse season will be influencing us until the next one begins. The current eclipse cycle involved a push for action based on feelings of dissatisfaction. This is combined with an awareness of the importance of being true to ourselves and that our true self is tuned into a greater reality of which we are a part, something greater than ourselves that we participate in. This is a call to open up to that greater reality, become one with it and be transformed by this experience.
The Retrograde Diary: DEGREE CHANGES TODAY: Neptune

{During the apparent retrograde period each planet’s movement relative to the backdrop of the stars slows down, reverses and then turns back around forward again concentrating its vibration in a particular area. There are issues that each planet focuses on during the period leading up to its turn backwards.
